Well... I have been to this Whataburger for too long I guess today was the last time. All good things come to an end I suppose? lol. I started using the mobile app to earn rewards, there was times when I would go multiple times a day they would want to give me both orders so free food, I always told it's just the most recent order, what was I going to do with breakfast and dinner food at the same time anyways?. So I guess that was me saving them some food, not that they need it. Today I ordered through the mobile app yet again, my favorite order I always Whatasize it also. It was the usual they gave me my food, the line was long through the drive thru so I headed home. When I got home Everything was correct except NO fries at all. I thought "oh they must be waiting for me back, I'll go get them who can enjoy a triple meat triple cheese without the fries?". Let's back up when I got there I go thru the drive thru, when ordering in the mobile app you just have to pick up the food. When I got there this time which it has happened multiple times, they try to charge me the person's order, the person behind me 🤦🏻♂️ more bs from whatabizzy. I have to tell them yet again that I already ordered, and paid for my food through the mobile app. Their response is always the same a glazed look then an "uh oh ok". So that happened when I went today also some lanky mofo wanting to charge me 🤷🏻♂️. Anways back to it, another lanky mofo comes to my car, this time on my way back I skipped the line and went to the second line since I wasn't going to wait all of that time for food that's ALREADY mine. I told what was wrong, and he gave me a look like his momma gave his dadda when he denied the child being his lmao. I saw he took my bag inside, so I thought it's all resolved now. Another mofo that seemed to be in charge manager or something comes to my car, I thought "damn might even get an apple of this 🤷🏻♂️". The dude says everyone inside is saying they did put the fries inside, and that the oil on the bag proves it. Damn I guess they are whatabizzy investigators also lol. So I told him I've been a long time customer, I always order I have NO reason to lie about fries. He wanted to take my bag again inside. Except this time I didn't let them why you ask?. BECAUSE NOW I DONT TRUST THEM WITH MY FOOD!. They already accused me of lying anyways over fries 🤦🏻♂️. I yanked my bag from him why lie to you folks. I called him a little something then left home. The drive thru girl was nice, maybe they were overwhelmed.. idk. So no "Muhammad" I didn't let you take my bag inside with you, I wasn't taking that chance. Well here is picture, to go...
Read moreNext to #HEB, another Texas Icon, I used to claim that Whataburger WAS the best, but I have recently had to change my mind.
Not because of the food or the service at any of their restaurants, rather due to an interaction with the Whataburger Escalations Team or should I say a LACK OF ACTION by said Corporate Department!
I initially reported an issue with an online order back in September of 2022 and was contacted by the Escalations Team within a week that it would be a few days before my item was addressed due to a high number of pending issues.
I replied that as long as I was not forgotten, a few extra days would not be an issue. Fast Forward to January 2023, I am still waiting for a member of the Whataburger Escalations Team to contact me.
I received a reply, offering me a FREE WhataChiken sandwich for my patience and the sandwich would appear on the Whataburger app within a day. I am still waiting (1 week) for my FREE WhataChicken sandwich meal.
Granted that the original complaint is still UNADDRESSED and UNRESOLVED, it is now 4 1/2 months!
Apparently, Whataburger is now expanding to Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolinas, but it still can't take care of its most loyal local clients in Texas.
I will continue to post this as a review for every Whataburger location that I stop by to make Google Maps think, I am eating there.
I am also COPYING and sending it to the Whataburger Escalations Team on a DAILY BASIS until someone finally addresses my pending issue!

If you go through the window/order at the counter, I haven't had too many issues but mobile orders at this location have left me rethinking placing an order. This is the closest one to me and have done a good amount of mobile curbside orders. Every single time there's something missing/wrong w my order. They also take a really long time. One morning I had to just drive away without my food to make it to work on time and that's cause I ordered and got there with more than enough time to make it. Another time I was missing my fries. Little things I can deal with. Today though I ordered 2 burgers. A #2 w the only modification as mayo instead of mustard. That was not done. They even added cheese which was not requested. The 2nd was a bacon avocado burger also w mayo instead of mustard. Not only did i not get any mayo but I was missing the bacon part of the BACON AVOCADO burger.... personally I'm gonna start mobile ordering from a different location. In person/drive thru is good, but if you're thinking of mobile ordering maybe try a different location or something...
