Before you take that long dirt nap...i highly recommend this place...for the "great food...great portions " for a low price...

Let me start... U get a small dish of refried beans...with homemade corn fried chips... U also get an 8 oz bowl of seafood gumbo...on the house... These appetizers are at least 9.95$ in my eyes.. Then comes the great plate with shrimp and fish combo. It is made very well..taste is just right...what u see in plate is what u get... Then my cola of course... All this for only 23.95$

Yes. There might be other places like Dirty Al's in the island....but this..is just a tad better bargain as the latter place does not offer these awesome free appetizers... Muelle 37 also offers similar package but i have always thought that tasted more like a "canned" soup...i can tell these subtle differences. Villa del Mar is what i prefer. I have been dining here for about 15 years.. always consistent!!

I wish I could rate the food but unfortunately we had to walk out and go somewhere where the customer service is better. We were greeted and sat, my family and I. We sat for 20 minutes and nobody ever came to our table. I looked around looking for someone that resembled a waiter or waitress, I made eye contact with one guy and thought ok, he's coming shortly, but nope. It was a slow day, staff just walked around sluggish. We decided to walk out and notified the hostess/cashier lady that a couple that had just walked in, were tended to while we just sat there waiting for the slightest bit of acknowledgement. I ordered a shrimp cocktail which it was ok but I ordered stuffed crabs and let me tell you it was nothing close to tasting like crab it actually looked more like fried stuffing...and I'm saying this because I've had stuffed crabs at other places and you can actually taste the crab and most of the time you can see the shredded crab ..my hubby ordered a stuffed fillet and it wasn't that good you can actually tell it was stuffed with seafood mix ...over all didn't like the food and too pricey ...I've spended less at other places and food quality is way better(I don't mind spending money ,but at least be worth it) ...would not...
