My first time here, I stopped in with a coworker for lunch in between seeing patients while we were in the area. The cashier was friendly and patient while waiting for me to decide what I wanted. The sizes they have are "freshman" which is 4.5", "jr" which is 9" and "senior" which is 13". All subs are served "Bob's" way unless you tell them otherwise which is a toasted Cellone's roll with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, provolone cheese, mayo, and their Italian dressing. You can add additional ingredients if you choose such as mushrooms, mild pepper rings, green peppers, etc if things haven't changed there is no additional cost for that. They have 4 different salads: chef, spicy Italian, Buffalo chicken, or a steak salad. They have Miss Vickie's chips as well as a few others like Doritos, 3 pickle spears, their macaroni and potato salad, and a side salad as sides. I saw a sign for hot or take-and-bake pizza as well but I do not know if the location I was at does that too or if only select locations do. The atmosphere was nice, it seemed pretty clean inside, the booth I sat down in probably could've been wiped down a little better but it wasn't awful and the restroom wasn't terrible either. The cost was average for what I received compared to other places and it was pretty good. I ordered a "jr" lucky #13 (which is creating your own) with turkey and roast beef with double provolone and a side of macaroni salad. The macaroni salad was not bad, but it wasn't the best I've had. I would go back if I was...
Read moreI don’t usually post bad reviews but it’s merited here. Bob’s Sub on Perrysville Highway, Monday, July 1, 2025. I ordered the #7, roast beef sub, large. The sign said for fixings you can have banana peppers, jalapeños, green peppers, pickles, mushrooms, black olives, ketchup and mustard. I told the young lady working the counter that I wanted everything except ketchup. Got home to find out that my sandwich had none of the fixings…..none. Zero. What did I get instead? A roast beef sandwich that had roast beef, two tomato slices, a small amount of lettuce, a couple of pieces of onion, some cheese and a whole lot of mayonnaise. Basically, what I asked for, I got the opposite. It’s like the sandwich maker made what SHE wanted instead of what I had asked for. The only positives I can leave is that they did indeed leave ketchup off my sandwich and also that I got a lot...
Read moreTables were dirty, and only 1 other customer in the store. Got the steak salad. asked the cashier what type of steak was on it and she had no idea what I meant. I gave examples... Strip, sirloin... She looked at me dumbfounded. She said "it's the steak you cook in a crock pot." I looked at her dumbfounded. I ventured to try it. BIG MISTAKE. Half the lettuce was turning brown and the other half was wilted. Two skinny, dehydrated tomato slices, a slice of green pepper chopped into 5 pieced, a sprinkle of cheddar and a handful of generic croutons. The meat was OK at best. After I came home I bit one of the donuts I bought and spit it out. Completely dried out. Too much restaurant competition to serve substandard food in the North Hills. Won't go back. Extremely...
