Shooters Golf — Restaurant in McCandless

Shooters Golf is exceptional. The staff goes above above and beyond expectations in assisting customers. They are extremely friendly and show they love their jobs and care about their customers. The outdoor driving range with TopTracer technology is perfect to improve your golf game. Indoor simulators are great (which they have), but nothing beats practicing outdoors in the elements hitting out of a heated bay. And the TopTracer not only allows you to practice your game, the app has simulated courses and other challenges (like approach shots at courses like St. Andrew's, Pebble Beach, and The Ocean Course). I mostly use the technology to both improve my game and sharpen my skills 2 to 3 times a week. I am so glad I found Shooters Golf. Food is also excellent. Just an overall great place run by great people. And the food. After 2 hours of golfing, I wanted to order something "light." I asked the waiter if the chef could make me a BLT. He said probably because they have bacon, lettuce, bread, and tomatoes. What the chef made me wasn't a "light" BLT. It was a meal - stacked with bacon. Honestly, THE BEST BLT I have ever had. Kudos to both the golf AND the food. Just an all around great place. Truly a gem of a facility that is only 30 minutes from my Moon Township home. Shooters has become my go to place that used to be just to hone my golf skills. Now, it's also about the food and the entire staff. Kindest people I have met.

And, what practice range in the area is actually a fairway with multiple targets and an OB? Add TopTracer to the mix plus the ever changing Pittsburgh weather, how can you not be on your best game at...

Such a fun place! It's similar to Top Golf, yet cheaper with much better food and drinks. They have indoor simulators as well you can rent out. We had a group of 5 in one bay. There were a bunch of different game options from playing on a course, to long drive challenges, to challenges to hit the flags. The only down side to having 5 people in a bay is that you can only have 4 players on one of the games. The sensors work well as long as you get the ball in the air. There were all types of people there and everyone looked like they were having a good time - experienced golfers and people who looked like they have never picked up a club before. They have clubs for you to borrow. The drivers cost $3 each (or $6 total for both men and women's), but the irons are at every station for free.

The service and food were excellent! We got a few appetizers, but we all got burgers. Both the cheeseburger and the smash burger were good! The appetizers we ordered of pretzel bites and boneless wings were great as well! For drinks, most everyone ordered beer, but they had good cocktail options as well. I got a blackberry whiskey drink and a whiskey sour type drink (no sour mix, yes!!).

I would definitely come back again! It was an affordable fun night out with good food and...

We had family visiting from out of town and did not want to drive to Top Golf 40 minutes away. We saw Shooters had opened and is just 10 minutes away and so booked two bays for 10 people in our party.

We were warmly greeted by Jena who handled the front, explained how things worked and helped answer any quesrions and helped us complete the paperwork.

The 2 bays were bery comfortable with a lot of sapce for us to sit, play and enjoy the beverages and food. We had Brittany taking care of us. She helped serup the machine dor our party and showed us how things worked. She took care of us for 2 hours of play, not overbearing but making sure we had all we needed.

Brain the Manager checked on things and made sure all was well. Great staff, really good food (we had soft drinks, pitcher of beer, side salad, fries, chicken tenders and loaded nachos).

The cost of the bays, great food was a great value for the wonderful time our party had this evening. The staff are great, and genuinely want you to have a great time.
