My favorite things to get at red Orchid Thai cuisine would be the shrimp drunken noodle. The drunken noodle is the combination of basil and Chili’s with the rice noodle. Overall the flavor is divine. if you’re looking for a different pallet in the area, you should definitely take your time and check them out. My favorite thing to eat on the appetizer list would be their fried chicken wings. They are so crispy and juicy at the same time it pairs well with her sweet chili sauce. Their chicken sauté is good and honestly they have the best peanut butter sauce I’ve had so far. The main goal and beef is great but if you prefer sweeter meets it might not be for you, so I’ll get that one and four out of five. The customer service is amazing. If you have questions about the menu, they will go in and explain it. The atmosphere is the only thing lacking but that doesn’t take away from the food experience. The food is really good. They just need some work. A lot of the chairs are old and run down but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t taste good it’s amazing. They’re crab angel is comparable to a crab Ragoogoon. They are on the smaller size but the flavor is there I can promise you never had a crab raccoon like the one at red orchard Thai cuisine. Go check them out. I always forget to take a picture of my food because it’s so yummy but I update a picture one...
Read moreI was looking forward to dinner after reading the reviews and I was so disappointed. I arrived a few minutes after opening for dinner, the hostess asked if I'm was there for happy hour I said no (strange) but anyway when the waiter arrived at my table I asked him if he had any recommendations he was not sure what to say I told myself he must be new. I order a soup for starters then my meal. When my meal came out the waiter said it was wrong but DO I MIND EATING IT ANYWAY it was cooked with chicken instead of shrimp I really was taken back for a bit and said to Yes I do mind. It just kept going down hill. No one checked on me not even the waiter for a very long time. I started looking around to see if I was the only one having this experience. I lost my appetite I asked a young lady walking by if I could get my food to go she said sure took it up and brought it back in A BOX AND SET IT ON THE TALBE. I'm now asking where is my bag. The other table to theirs in a bag. I asked for a bag and my check it took 25mins to bring me my change from the cash I gave the waiter he stated it was a problem when you pay cash and the system. I really wanted to cry. I ask for the manager who was so busy that I felt as if he wasn't even really listening to me. That is another story. Very very...
Read moreEhh. We decided to give this place a try. The first turn off was the lighting. It is very dark inside almost to the point you can barely see the menu. We ordered wonton soup and the following lunch specials; Thai fried rice, pineapple fried rice, chicken& broccoli, and Mongolian Beef. The rice dishes were good and so was the broccoli & chicken but I can’t say the same for the broccoli beef. The sauce was good but the beef was not tender AT ALL, it was inedible. The worse part was when we brought it to the server’s attention her response was “that’s just how our beef is, not tender”. And after her response she asked if we wanted to take it to-go. I’ve had Mongolian beef hundreds of times and I’ve never had it chewy like rubber. I didn’t want her to remove it from the bill, but I would’ve been satisfied if she would’ve offered to replace it with another dish of similar value.
I also thought it was crazy that they were begging for pennies for everything. $6 for a small wonton soup that doesn’t have at least 3 wontons is crazy.
$100 for 4 people with lunch specials is ridiculous especially when someone was not satisfied...
