My experience was terrible. When I arrived to the restaurant the young lady that took my order was extremely polite. I had questions and I feel she answered them as best she could. Once she had taken my order, she verbally gave me my total but another order and total appeared on my order screen. I never saw my actual order, only got the total. The young lady beside me told me her order total is what was on my screen and mine was on hers, so I pressed the red button again since I was paying with my card. An associate came out and explained that they made the mistake inside and knew about it and the food would be made correctly. She also stated that someone would take my payment once the food had arrived, I said ok. 15-20 minutes later, my food came out and another young lady took my card payment. Once she brought my receipt back, I saw I was charged $11.78 for 2 double cheeseburgers, I pressed the red button again because the double cheeseburgers were supposed to be 3.30 (roughly) a piece. The manager, Stephanie chambers came on the mic and explained to me that I should have specified what kind of double cheeseburger I wanted because by default when a customer asks for a double cheeseburger a supersonic cheeseburger is what?s assumed. I think it?s idiotic to assume that because someone asks you?d automatically charge them for the highest item instead of asking them! Ironically, had my order been on the screen as it should?ve been I would?ve saw the issue initially and corrected before it made it to this point. Mrs chambers then told me an associate would be out and I was then told to give back the food (that I had touched mind you) and she needed my card and receipt and the money would be back on my card in 10 days. Not 3-5 days but 10!! I asked if I could get a cash refund seeing it was a debit card and was told no. I decided to not wait on that refund because if it took 20 minutes to get the food initially I could only imagine how long it?d take to remake then refund! Besides that, the attitude that the staff had (minus the order taker) was distasteful and I wouldn?t have trusted them to remake my order acting in the manner that they were. I did tell the associate I would be contacting corporate! I spent $30 on an order and got terrible service and definitely not $30 food quality! Read moreTerrible customer service. It hasn't always been, but my family and I have noticed within the last year it has went down. We live near this location so we visit frequent for a Sonic slush. At least twice a week we are told the slush machine is down. Today I waited at the drive thru speaker for approximately 7 minutes. I pulled to the window thinking the speaker was broke. While waiting at window for another 4 or 5 minutes two employees walked back and forth without acknowledging I was there. Once the young lady open the window (Hannah) she gave me a total for someone else's order. I then informed her I had not ordered, and assumed the speaker was broke. Her attitude was so terrible I asked for a manager. The manager stated the speaker goes in and out they do the best they can, and have notified upper management, but nothing has been done. On top of all of that, Hannah handed me my order which was incomplete. I asked her for two ranch dipping sauce. Before I could get sauce out she closed the window, got them, and handed them to me with attitude writtenall over her face. I waited for my second drink thinking they were still working on it, and noticed all the cars behind me were being served and leaving, so I blew the horn to get someone's attention. Hannah appeared, I stated I'm still waiting on my second drink, Hanna responded "what drink"? By this time I was over the whole situation and asked for the manager again to take the incomplete order back and refund...
Read moreThis Sonic continues to be the worst Sonic I have ever been to. Today, the drive thru had a sign stating "drive thru not working, pull to window." I did. With the length of time it took for the customer in front of me, you would have thought she ordered one of everything from the menu but she got a drink and a small bag. I pulled up to a person not wearing a uniform, hair all over his head (in food service), and was told "we only take debit/credit cards." No reason, no apology no nothing. I asked "what if I have exact change?" He agreed. I then orderd a sweet tea and was told, "it will take at least 4 minutes cause we have to make it. We opened late cause somebody didn't close right." I understand problems, but its now an hour and 45 minutes from their opening time when I came thru so where was the maanger, how long does it take to fix a closing problem, why haven't things been prepped in an hour and 45 minutes? No explanation, again, no apology no nothing. I left and hope to never be back. I rather pay more for a drink or food than continue to give my money to a business that does not care about their customers. Sad because with as much as I love Sonic and spend there I should own stock in the company but it won't be at this location. I will give my money to a Sonic that wants...
