Donut Plus & Chinese Fast Food — Restaurant in McGregor

😬I read many of the reviews of this place and none of them agree with my experience except for some who have the same opinion as me. I'm sure many of these people have never eaten at a real high-end Chinese restaurant. To begin with, this place did not have the menu available and the lady did not speak well so I could not understand well with her, then when I finally understood something it turned out that they did not have my favorite dish, which is the combination fryrice. I finally decide what to eat and order a plate of beef broccoli and it turns out that I also had to order a separate order of white rice because this plate did not have rice. While I was waiting for my food I decide to go to the bathroom to urinate and wash my hands and I find that the bathroom is closed and out of order, how horrible. My food finally arrives and when I try the first bite I discover that apparently the cook poured the entire jar of Salt into the food because it was super salty and only had a few crumbs of meat, the entire dish was just broccoli. In truth, the only thing I enjoyed well was the rice, which to make matters worse was separated. I ended up paying almost $17 for a meal that wasn't worth it plus i had to pay for a drink because they didn't gave me water. I think this place has a lot of work to do if they want to make more money, they must work harder on...

I ordered orange chicken, egg rolls, cream cheese rangoon, and small fried rice. Fried rice or rice is not included with the chicken. The orange chicken was the best I've ever eaten. The egg rolls were good they came with a dipping sauce not sure what it is. I'm use to getting sweet & sour as the dipping sauce. The cream cheese Rangoon was good although it didn't come with a dipping sauce. One order of chicken is enough for two people. The menu posted is a year old and prices have gone up $1 for most items. First time trying this place so the wife and I ordered 4 different entrees just to get a general feel for the food. For this area... This is hands down the best chinese take out. Food was fresh, service was speedy (she kept apologizing for the wait, it was really not a bad wait at all for 4 entrees and people in front of us.) The lady working there was SUPER nice amd didnt charge my card until she told me what the estimated wait time was. Hidden gem, this will be our go to Chinese food from now on, especially since its on my way home....
