Jimano's Pizzeria — Restaurant in McHenry

This place has my favorite Buffalo chicken pizza but unfortunately this will be the last time I order it from this location. Food said it would be ready between 6:35-6:45. My husband was there at 6:40 and waited for over 30 minutes. The app showed it was done for over 15 minutes and yet no one would give him an update. I call to get the status and I'm told it's not done yet. The girl brushed me off when I asked why they were assisting some and ignoring others. I asked to speak to a manager and she put the phone down. I could hear them talking in the back, asking if anyone was going to help the guy who had been waiting, and nothing. Then I hear someone ask if she's still on hold, meaning me, and then they put me on hold. The kid who said he's "supposed to be" the manager, Ozzie, couldn't have acted like he cared any less. I've been in customer service for almost 20 years and I've never treated a customer like they didn't matter like that. Not once. It's more than just the pizza, which order on a regular basis. Supposedly I'll get a refund in 4-5 business days but since he apparently doesn't know if he's actually the manager or not I'm inclined to not...

I'm a regular at this particular pizza place. I have never had an issue with it and the pizza is always delicious. However today after what I saw, I don't know if I'll be back. Friday, November 16th 2018 at 7pm me and my mom went to get our pizza as usual. Danielle was at the machine and she was nice as always, but I saw a girl in the kitchen. This girl wasn't in dress code, but in a Victoria's secret hoodie. I saw her texting repeatedly too, but this isn't what bothered me. What made me sick is that her long, brown, strait, hair was down. As someone with long hair, I know it sheds..a LOT. I was watching this girl looking at orders and then I watched her try to look at the back side of an order and her hair was TOUCHING a pizza waiting to be cut. ALL of her hair. I've never been so grossed out and afraid to eat pizza before. I didn't catch her name, but she had the hair previously described and she wore glasses. I hope that she will at least be talked to as this is now a quality and health concern. I only gave five stars so this will...

I typically love the service here but not this time. I called and placed a delivery order and the guy on the phone was extremely monotone and rude. Whatever though I get it, it’s hot as hell outside and you are working in the heat of the pizza place. Anyways I always come to this pizza place because they always did a military discount. Having my significant other who fought for country be honored In small ways like a military discount means a lot to not only me but him, anyways the guy when I called said they have never done a military discount and no one should have given me a military discount in the past. 1st of all yes you guys have many many many times so how uncomfortable for you to tell me you don’t. 2nd if that’s truly not the case saying in such a demeaning way is not the best way to get your point across. 3rd Yes once again you have offered military discounts in the past. This is the final time I will order.
