New China — Restaurant in McHenry

I have been going there for about 3 years. The food taste and the service has changed for the worse. I know the boss Andy and I feel like he's the only person that's nice and attentive to customer service. The older lady that works at the window needs to learn better customer service if she's going to work at the window. I try to tell her the errors and she really doesn't seem like she cares. The food taste has changed too quite a bit. I stopped going there frequently for the past 1 year and a half. I only now get the egg drop soup for my kids. Which is hard to mess up. New China’s (quart size) wonton soup is tasty, satisfying, abundant and a good value for your buck!

The Egg Drop Soup is, as well… We like it with an EXTRA egg added in.

I have always been a fan of their Moo Shoo Chicken (with veggies & wrap)

like it spicy? I request “Hot Oil” On the side, just to add heat, with no salt or vinegar… (just a dot of oil here or there & mix in)

They will substitute brown rice, for white upon request.

Also, you can sub in fried rice…

The absolute best Chinese restaurant around! We order out here a couple times a month. There is no restaurant eating, it's take out only. Everything is great, we've never had anything we didn't like, but we regularly order their wonton soup, egg rolls, and the steamed dumplings. We also love the chicken or beef ho fun with wide noodles, as well as chicken with garlic sauce and General Tso's chicken. Their service a great, but recommend ordering in advance on their website to secure a time for pickup. Also, the lines can get long, especially on weekends.
