I recently visited "Big Foot Tap Room", in McKinleyville, CA, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and openness of the establishment. The spacious interior and ample outdoor seating made for a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features of Big Foot Tap Room is their impressive selection of beers. With a vast array of options to choose from, every beer enthusiast is sure to find something to suit their taste. The collaboration with food trucks is another fantastic aspect of Big Foot Tap Room. Not only do they offer an incredible variety of beers, but they also provide the perfect accompaniment by teaming up with food trucks. This combination ensures that visitors can enjoy a delectable meal while sipping on their favorite brew. During my visit, I had the: Firestone Walker Cali Squeeze Blood Orange Blood Orange Hefeweizen Paso Robles, CA5% 15 IBU It was delicious 👌 The friendly and knowledgeable staff at Big Foot Tap Room deserve special mention. They were attentive, helpful, and passionate about their craft. Their recommendations and willingness to answer questions added to the overall enjoyment of my experience. Overall, I can confidently say that Big Foot Tap Room is a must-visit destination for beer enthusiasts in McKinleyville, CA. The combination of a clean and spacious environment, an extensive beer selection with a convenient QR code system, collaboration with food trucks, and exceptional customer service make it an outstanding establishment. Whether you're a seasoned beer aficionado or simply looking to relax with friends, Big Foot Tap Room is the place to be. I can't wait to visit again and explore even more of their enticing offerings!

Laid back spot, great beer selection. You can bring your own food or order something from The Boardroom, they have a booth inside from Thursday to Saturday from 5 to 8:30 pm. I really like that their website shows what they have on tap and how much they have left in each keg. The outdoor area is great and dog friendly. No one under 21 allowed. Cornhole game available. Every time I visited, the bartender was a cute girl rocking yoga pants, which makes for a nice sight if you are seating at the bar. Clean bathrooms. Large indoor area. Correction: I’ve always been here on weekdays but today I came on Saturday and there was a dude bartending. Boooooooo! Hahaha.

Great brewery feel and options. Much of beer options are local, some from further away. The food truck guy “Bill” was awesome. He was smoking meat but we had some vegetarians in our group and he brought us over some cabbage, pickled onions and pickles to munch on. Nice brewery look and feel. Also really nice outdoor seating area.

Totally positive reviews from this happy customer!

My husband and I stopped in The Bigfoot Taproom last weekend to check it out and we were throughly impressed! I loved how the decor was well thought out and all tied together with the Bigfoot theme; the Bigfoot pictures, the beautiful wooden bar and the cool tree line metal decor behind the taps They seemed to have thought of it all, even including a water “hydration station” for customers to have access to get their own water! Past the decor, the reason for stopping by in the first place, was the beer... let me say, “wow”! The variety was great and I love how many local beers they had on tap, all the best in one place! They seemed to have a beer for every taste, including some ciders! We got to meet the owners while we were there too and they are SO nice, welcoming and very knowledgeable about all of the beers that they sell! They treated us like old friends and answered any questions that we had and even took the time to show us the really cool app that they use for their tap menu! I can’t wait to bring our friends with us next time and look forward to buying their merchandise when they start selling it because we will gladly wear it to support this great...

I've been trying to find the words to not harm the employees with my review. So... here are my two cents: The beer selection is great, the patrons are awesome and the staff has never been other than excellent. The food trucks bring great food too! I will not go into detail but the ownership is a mix-match. The two guys have always been cool but every interaction I ever had with the gal (Lisa I think is her name) was always awkward. I hate to sound misogynistic, this has nothing to do with her gender, but she has no place in customer service, especially if she is going to blame customers for her own mistakes. My last interaction with this business was over two years ago. I sat on my review for the place to not harm the business or it's employees. However, an acquaintance just shared a bad experience she had recently and I feel like the business will not address it unless I point out the poor management job she is providing to the customers. I hate having to write this review, but there are other taprooms in the area. Go visit Redwood Courtain or Papa Wheelies, at least the owners and management seem to care about...
