We have been regular customers at Mesas since they opened. Never in my life have I had the most unprofessional experience with a manager (Hugo). Who actually likes to argue with customers requesting a $7.00 refund. First of all it was August 5th 2017 at approximately 9:45 pm, we are arrived to a ghost town, empty restaurant and we expected to have at least the best service from management. First our fajitas came out with cold potatoes when we ordered the specialty platter, Parrillada Mesa, as if they had been sitting out for hours and then the mixed drink that I ordered was too strong to drink. I asked the manager if he could please provide me some form of concession or refund for the $7.00 drink instead he continued to argue with me all the way out the door on how he could not refund the drink or risk losing his job over the refund. We spent over $110 in food and because of the unprofessional of this manager we will never go there again. I will also share my experience with friends and family over my request for the $7.00 refund. It's worth driving the extra few miles to Cristina's, Gloria's, Hacienda Ranch or Mi Cocina then to have not so great food and management who argues over a $7.00 refund request.
Then to top it off, the double order fajitas we ordered to take home, they completely forgot to pack tortillas for the order. ...
Read moreIt only gets one star because I’m forced to choose one. Poor service starting with the two hostesses that have no idea how to work together to effectively seat guests. When I asked why there were six tables open on a 20 minute wait she immediately barked if I had issues I could speak to her manager. Then we were miraculously seated only to have the waiter rush us through the order process. Halfway through the bowl of chips our food arrives. We each ordered the taco burrito combo and my burrito was about an inch across in size, where my spouses was twice that size. When I asked the waiter, he too immediately offered up the manager. Ten minutes later the manager arrives only to offer a replacement, which is fine. After that we basically didn’t exist. Service was horrible, food was inadequate for the price we paid so unfortunately we won’t return. Taco Bell would have been cheaper, better quality and at least the gal in the drive through says “thanks”. Bottom line, treated very poor, rude staff and...
Read moreThey don't just bring salsa to your table, but also mashed black beans that pair nicely. Their tableside guacamole is good but unless everyone is eating it, it's more worth the price to just get a small side of guac with your meal. So far, I've tried the spinach enchiladas, chicken enchiladas, cheese enchiladas, beef taco, taco salad, and pork tamales. Everything has been satisfactory and I look forward to trying their fajitas and street tacos next!! Great service, friendly and attentive staff, and they didn't bother us at all to leave at 10pm when they closed and we were still enjoying our meal. I haven't tried the alcohol yet myself, but on Father's day they gave my brother in law a drink on the house! Overall, I keep wanting to go back because I want to try everything on the menu (not one thing doesn't sound appetizing to me). AND I almost forgot the best part is they serve breakfast food ALL DAY! I'd recommend the place to anyone. Obviously it isnt cheap like fast food, but it IS...
