Wendy's — Restaurant in McKinney

I dont really write reviews and i am not the one to go run to write a review normally. But Just left there and the lady with the red hair must really hate her job. Taking orders over the speaker, she mumbled something when she came on (dont even know what she said) something like "ready?" And went silent...nothing about wendys etc.) .....so we say are you ready?....she says "yeah"...sounded pretty rude this entire ordering process. Every question she had just came off rude and she was very short like we were bothering her. Not like we had a complicated order, it was very basic. At the window a guy was handing us the food and was okay. But she goes to hand us the change and just looks at us and doesnt say one word and turns away....

You Should really hire people who like their job, or at least can fake it. Ive worked in all kinds of customer service, and she has no clue what that means. I could not even say this is mediocre service. This whole interaction just rubbed me the wrong way and decide to go...

Zero stars. Generally I avoid leaving bad reviews, but it seems worth sharing when something is really bad.

I pulled up tonight to pick up my mobile order in the drive thru, someone mumbled into the speaker and then ignored me. I drove up to the window and was ghosted for at least 3 minutes before I left. Employees walked past the window, wiping down counters and avoiding eye contact completely. They were open, all the lights were on, I’ve no idea why they ignored me.

I had a similar experience here once before with no explanation. If they closed an hour early or their system was down or something like that, all they have to do is say anything at all to me and I’ll understand. Food service can be a hard job, I get it, I’ve done it, but I’ve never just ghosted someone right in front of my face and refused to even make eye contact.

I used to like Wendy’s but when things like this happen repeatedly it makes me feel stupid for even trying.

I am giving up on all Wendy’s, and have deleted...

I have been to this Wendy's a few times and today was the worst experience I've had coming here. The girl that took our order was a little rude. She seemed irritated that we were ordering. I pulled up to the window and she started fixing the drinks. She fixed 3 out of 5 then asked for payment. I gave her the card and she handed me my receipt and then shut the window. She went around to the front of the restaurant to fix the last 2 drinks and finally handed us the drinks. I usually get all my drinks up front. It was very slow so there was no reason why the food should have been cold. My chicken sandwich tasted like it had been sitting there all day. The bun was hard as a rock. The chicken patty was cold and over cooked. I understand that people can have bad days but I paid my money to eat here and would like to get good service...
