Once upon a time I lived in this Target. This store was the ONLY store in my area I made purchases for my home.
I just called to speak to someone, selected the option for guest service, & surprise surprise - the call disconnects. This has been a long-standing issue.
I miss the originals, a bunch of kind people, while some new Team Members leave a lot to be desired there are a few that bring the old Target feel forward.
I just left a drive-up with the shoes pictured with this review. I spoke to Luke who left me with someone from the Service team will review and determine what needs to happen. Luke agreed the item should’ve been salvaged, but I don’t believe he cared what happened.
I shared with Luke, while someone obviously returned these shoes, it seems to me that whoever accepted the return would have called salvage or at least spoke to someone who has more experience & asked if this was an appropriate item to return to the floor.
In addition to that, whoever picked the order should have done the same.
I’ve stopped being a regular Target customer due to the absence of help in the store along with some other obvious reasons, but this, just tells me as a target customer, I’m not important. I’m will not shop somewhere I know that only a handful of people are going to be polite and customer, friendly, and on top of that I have to survey my order as soon as I get it. At this point, I’m might as well do the shopping myself. Which nullifies the benefit of services like same-day delivery and drive up completely.
I just visited with one of the newer Team Members who has some soft skills yesterday and they mentioned how it’s been quite some time since they’ve seen me and while I didn’t want to break down my reasoning, I was just happy to connect with her.

Read moreToday I went to target around 10 am to buy groceries. I abided by all the signs stating the amount that you could buy of each item. I got to the self checkout and was greeted by the person in charge of that section. She then looked in my basket and said she would have to remove some items. I assured her that I abided by all signs and only took what I was allowed of each item. First she told me the limit on milk is one when it’s 2. Then, she told me that the limit on baby water was 1 when the sign said 4. She continued to argue with me and then called her associate over. They both were arguing with me saying I was trying to buy too much baby water. They were so rude that 2 customers stepped in go defend me. They called Rob over, the store Mgr. We walked back to where the baby water was. I showed Rob the sign and he immediately took it down. He said it wasn’t supposed to be there. When I told him how absurd it was that they were arguing with me and they shouldn’t treat any customer like that. Rob said I’m sorry they have been having to argue with customers all day because of the same issues. I told him well that’s a problem. He said I’m sorry and told me that some stores have armed guards. Really??? What does that have to do with the situation at hand. I spend about 1000 a month there and I will no longer go to that target or any other target because of the way I...
Read moreI see a lot of people posting about loss prevention following them around due to the color of their skin, i 100% believe them. I am a white guy, however I have tattoos and large holes in my ears so I guess im not the typical McKinney Target customer.
I have spent thousands of dollars at this target and the other one on stacy and 75. I also get followed around by Loss Prevention and hovered around at the self checkout. I had a guy that looked like a wannabe undercover cop, so obviously Loss Prevention, follow me down every aisle. He had no cart, no basket, yet he showed up on the same aisle as me multiple times. I went to the self checkout as I always do, and scanned every single item, like I ALWAYS DO. This cop reject comes up behind me as I am inserting my credit card and stares at my screen and trys to play it off by grabbing a pack of gum then going over to the other register to pay for it. That register he paid for it at had gum too, so why not just go there to buy it? I guess because you already determined I was a criminal and a thief. I will still use the pharmacy as they always treat me great but I am going to start buying my groceries at the new Wal Mart right next door that doesnt send some rookie loss prevention guy to follow honest customers around.
News flash, not everyone who looks different from...
