Delish Bubble Tea — Restaurant in McKinney

I have been going here for a while since it's the only boba place near McKinney & while I've had my frustrations from time to time (mostly because it takes so long to get your drink), today was on another level! My little sister was having a few friends over for her birthday & I took them to get boba. They hadn't had it before so I gave them time to look at the menu & two of them decided to get what I was getting. When we went up to order & I told her we needed three of the same thing she literally told me no. She's the owner and she aggressively told me "Listen honey, not everyone likes boba and you can't force them to." I assured her that I was not forcing them to & that they wanted to try it. She proceeded to say that they would need to try a sample then before she would let them get the drink because she needs them to like their drink so she can get their business in the future. These were truly her words. Not wanting confrontation, I asked her to please give the kids samples & she completely ignored me. She told me if they needed suggestions that she should be the one telling them what to get. Two out of the three kids ended up changing their order because they felt so uncomfortable & once we left expressed how upset they were at the way she acted.

It felt very unwarranted because there was nothing negative on my end & she got very aggressive very quickly. I wanted to say something to her after we got our drinks but she had disappeared. I had been going to this place weekly, but I'm not sure I'll be going back...

Purchased a classic milk tea, a mango slush and strawberry banana slush all with boba. My kids and I sat down to enjoy our drinks and my youngest immediately said this tastes bad, she had one sip, we never left the location. I went back to the woman who made the drinks and said, I’m sorry my daughter says this tastes really bad, can we please exchange for another mango. The woman says, I’m sorry I can’t, that’s just the taste of the strawberry, I told you that the mango was the most popular one. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t take her comment of mango being most popular as an insinuation of the other fruit flavors tasting spoiled or undrinkable. I walked out of the location and tossed a $5 drink in the trash. Shame on Delish Boba Tea but fool me once, never twice. We’ll NEVER be spending our money here again. I should’ve gone where we always go to enjoy a boba slush - and that’s right down the road...

Went to the store to get a Boba tea for my 9 year old. After paying through apple pay, the cashier called us back as we are exiting the store, asking me to pay again as the initial payment did not go through due to their faulty POS machine. Then I went back and stand at the cashier's for about 5 minutes try to tap my phone again and again, try to catch their POS machine while it works. At the same time, my kid got bored and played with the Boba tea cup and dropped it before he can take even one sip. While I am cooperating with the cashier trying every way to tap my phone to pay to accommodating their faulty payment system, the cashier refused to make another bubble tea for my kid. Eventually the payment went through, we leave the store with nothing but disappointment. Would not shop...
