Very good donuts! This place has some of the best donuts!!! Now, let me say...I had the Gluten Friendly donuts, and my husband had an apple fritter. Neither of us had a regular donut. The GF donut wasn't just the best GF donut I've ever had, it might just be the best pastry I've ever eaten. It was THAT good. I ordered ahead because they only make GF donuts for Friday, got there at my designated time, in & out, nice employees, very simple process, and a clean store. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the coffee. I ordered a latte. It was not good. It tasted burnt, and the milk may have been sour. I realize I was there mid-morning, and the coffee might have been a few hours old, but when you're paying $5+ for a cup of coffee, you expect it to be edible. It wasn't. I threw out the entire cup. Also, you can't "doctor" your coffee even if you want to (add Splenda, sugar, etc) because there is no beverage condiment area in the store. For a restaurant named Dough n Joe, there needs to be a bit of work done on the Joe part. But they definitely have the Dough down!!!! We will definitely be...
Read moreYum!! Recommend 100% I was in the area and recently heard about this shop. I decided to stop in and pick up 100 doughnut holes for my co-workers. We have had a lot of doughnut holes from other doughnut places such as Dunkin and Maple Doughnuts. I must say the doughnut holes from here win hands down. They offer more of a selection of flavors too. My co-workers raved about how delicious they were. I heard "So light and soft." Over and over! Let's just say a lot of dental professionals couldn't stop stuffing their faces with these mini delights. The owner was friendly and let me know that the doughnuts are even better than the holes. 😋 Is that even possible 😋 As I was there I did notice the many flavors of Doughnuts sold and they all looked amazing and were neatly displayed. I will definitely be back with my kids to try some more of what this business has to offer. I have a feeling they...
Read moreHad high expectations according to all the 5 star reviews. Young man behind counter was nice. Most of our donuts were dry and seemed a bit stale. Please justify $20 for a dozen donuts? I'll gladly pay more for quality, but unfortunately I didn't think they were better than any other donut shop or grocery store. The French Cruller was the only donut that seemed fresh. Maybe because it was a Sunday early afternoon? Maybe they don't make donuts on weekends? It's been years since I bought donuts and was looking forward to the experience. Probably won't be back. Sorry.
UPDATE: The owner asked us to give them a second chance since last week's donuts didn't measure up due to wrong water amounts when making the donuts. He graciously offered to give us a complimentary dozen with the correct water amounts and we took him up on it today. Definitely much better! Fresh, light and...
