A pleasantly unique bakery and eatery you wouldn't necessarily expect for the quaint area it's housed. The building is a reclaimed church, and the establishment allowed much of the previous facade to stay, which gives it a nice aesthetic. I was there for a wedding rehearsal dinner, which made the experience much different than dining traditionally. They did seem a bit overwhelmed by the size of the party (around 40), with only two servers who certainly worked as hard as they could to accommodate. There was also an issue with when the food was to come out brought upon by the grooms parents, which the restaurant could not be blamed for. My wife and I started out with their Flatbread that was on a crepe like dough with assorted veggies and feta, and it was very good. After our wait for entrees, we were relieved to enjoy our main courses extensively. I got the Salansica with chicken, and it was decadent and uniquely delicious. We also got some Germans Chocolate Cake to enjoy after hearing the clamor about rhe quality of their desserts- and it fully lived up to expectations. Incredibly moist and richly flavored, the only crime was only choosing one dessert option. Definitely a wonderful spot for food and dessert, and one I'd like to one day try again in a more conventional sense.

Found this Bakery after doing a Google search for 'Bakery near me'. We needed seven cakes for a birthday party in two and a half days. A surprise 70th for my Father. We ordered one vanilla cake, one carrot cake, one German chocolate cake, one Nutella cake, and one strawberry cake (they call it Strawberry shortcake). For the birthday boy....personal cheesecake. These are the best cakes you could order in the Tri-County area. Our guests came back for seconds and asked us for the name and number of the bakery. This is the kind of bakery that you get a generous amount of filling to cake ratio. Filling meaning custard and/or filling NOT icing. This is great because too much icing is just too much, but extra custard/filling is awesome. Cake was moist, full of flavor, and still light and not a heavy feeling in your body. I usually only eat chocolate cake when I eat cake but their vanilla cake is a game changer! I will call this bakery for EVERY event. The owner and daughter happily greeted me when I picked up the cakes. Their take out selections looked so good that I ordered goulash and apple strudel to go. I am posting pictures of the cut cake so you can see the delicious filling. Long live this bakery!! Thanks for your talents for our party!!

First of all, the cafe is very cozy and has nice ambiance. Food was very good and prices are more than reasonable ($4.50 for a savory crepe is just unbeatable, I think even $5.50 would still be an amazing price). We had breakfast crepes for lunch, one is with scrambled eggs, cream cheese, spinach and tomatoes and the other one with turkey, spinach and eggs. Very filly and tasty! The owner went to greet us, have some friendly talk and even gave us some bruschetta with sun dried tomatoes which we ordered to go. I have to mention that I've been searching for good macaroons in the area for a while and I found them here! Will be definitely coming back and recommend you to stop by for sure!

Delicious, creative food in pleasant environment. My husband noticed this new place yesterday in downtown Mechanicsburg. We love Mediterranean food and have been getting takeout every week from local restaurants every week to help them stay afloat (and to enjoy a break from cooking!) so decided to try it last night. We loved it and will return repeatedly, based on our happy experience. Good COVID compliance, friendly staff, decent ambiance. Everything was included in our well-packaged takeout order. We're hoping for outdoor seating when the weather warms up.

I had the cevapi 5-sausage with house salad. The little sausages were tasty and went well with the tender lepina (flatbread); it paired well with a house salad that came with delicious vinaigrette. (I looked up the Bosnian food terms to know what to expect). The ajvar (red pepper eggplant sauce) was delicious, worth getting this dish again for the flavor. There was also a white creamy sauce similar to tzatziki. Yum. There's a 10-sausage option, too for hungrier appetites.

Husband had chicken snitzle (much like German schnitzel, a breaded and pan fried chicken cutlet) with Swiss chard potatoes (hearty) and risotto (creamy, decadent). 1 child had tomato basil sandwich with chips on the side (just as described in menu and tasty even though she doesn't like avocado). Other child had chicken adana kebab with fries and salad. The kebab is not chunks but seemed to be seasoned ground chicken formed into a patty on a stick. Tasty and a bit spicy. Fries were good, too.

We didn't try any of the lovely bakery items but took photos of their amazing display for future reference. I see a number of other items I'd like to try. I'm really glad for this strong addition to Mechanicsburg's growing downtown...

Scammers!!!!!! They will promise you one thing and deliver another so don’t trust this people to make your food. I was looking for some one to make me a cake so I called this place and the daughter said yes we can do the tower cake with the character I was looking for and they told me that everything I wanted to hear and they said the cake was going to cost me $80 so I was fine with that. 4 days later, I go to pick up the cake and all I got was one flat blue cake with weep cream and Elsa from frozen print on top and I was in disbelief so I started calling Giant, Sam’s club and Walmart in the area to try to get one from them but they all stated that they would need 24 hour noticed and all I had was 12 hours so I had to take the cake with me. The mother made it sound like it was going to be exactly like the picture I provided them with and I was very upset so the daughter goes “ I was planing on giving you $5 discount but I will give you $15 dollar discount and to tell you the truth it would have been difficult to make a tower cake in 4 days so we did what we could.” I replied back saying maybe some other bakery would have done it so you should always be honest with your customers. Then, she said never mind and put the cake in some brown banana box from 1-800 flowers. The type of box you can find at a fedex store and I was so shocked I just wanted to get out of there. Never again from this place! I could have found that kind of cake for 15 dollars...

Love this Bosnian restaurant! Have been there on average once per month. Great food, friendly staff and the baked goods are to die for! Do yourself a favor and check it out! Sat outside for lunch today. My wife had the Cold Plate Trio (dips, salad & flatbread) while I had the Manitje (6 mini sausage rolls with three different kinds of salad). Both choices were off the 'Starters' menu and were big enough for entrees. With a bottle of mineral water, diet soda & tip, lunch was under $30. Value for money!! 1/22/23: Lunched again at Dalicia's as is our monthly routine. This time, my wife had the flatbread and I had the Bosnian Chili. The chili came in a metal container with a lid and a chunk of homemade toasted herb bread. The broth had the consistency of and tasted a little like pea & ham soup, with sausage and beans. Nice and warming on a winter's day. We got dessert to go for dinner - a slice of german chocolate cake and a slice of baklava cheesecake! 12/2/23 - Went for lunch. My wife had the artichoke & spinach crepe while I had the breakfast crepe (turkey sausage, shredded parmesan cheese and eggs). Both were delicious & satisfying. Got pastries to go for tonight's dessert. 3/16/24 - went for lunch. Wife had Adana Chicken sandwich and I had the house flatbread with beef sausage. Both meals were delicious, usual, and we got...
