Mechanicsburg Museum Association — Attraction in Mechanicsburg

Nice little museum dedicated to the history of the Cumberland Valley Railroad in Mechanicsburg, PA. Small displays of equipment, posters, schedules and information. Working model train display was a blast for the kids.

The bots had a great time. We had been here back in July for storyline and saw the firefighting exhibits in the other building and saw the exhibits in this building and visited the gift shop. Nice local museum. The freight building rotates exhibits while the passenger building is setup as a local railroad museum and now and then photos of Mechanicsburg. Third building is the station master's house which is restored and staged as a period-accurate house from 1866.
