They had an App glitch that led them to miss my order (it happens…no worries).
However, when they refused to fix it and then told me that it was “my problem to fix”…I fixed it by telling them to either fill my order immediately or give me my phone back (which the manager had in his hand to troubleshoot “my problem”).
That resulted in the store manager escalating when he should have de-escalated. I made his mistake clear to him…and left Dunkin’ Donuts for the last time after 47 years of loyalty.
Aside from feeling embarrassed for losing my patience (losing your temper is a sign of weakness in my book), I’m really bummed about missing that Dunkin joy we used this get as kids from the great folks behind the counter. They were friendly and keenly aware of why customers were coming in…for that hot coffee, fresh donut, and smiling face that makes the early morning so much more tolerable..
Dunkin’ Corporate traded customer service for a bottom line profit goal…and that will be their downfall. As a profit-building strategy, they can take my thousands of unused loyalty points and trade them in for an ounce of the customer experience that put...
Read moreHorrible. Like night and day compared to the one on the Carlisle Pike. Before we moved we went to the Pike 2-3 times a wk faithfully. At the Pike location the bacon is always cooked crisp, the employees are so much nicer, if there's a mistake they fix it no problem, etc. The location on Simpson Ferry, the bacon is always undercooked n barely edible, the customer service sucks, they don't seem to understand what your asking n prices are outrageous. The ONLY positive abt the Simpson Ferry location is they always give u more munchkins than u order, ONLY positive!!!!
We will miss our multiple weekly visits but we can't remain loyal to experiences like we've had n must say goodbye to Dunkin after yrs of loyalty n much money spent. We spend roughly $30-$45 PER VISIT at 2-3 visits a wk.
I do not recommend...

I also asked for oatmilk in both drinks as my mom and I have problems with dairy and they did not add that but instead used regular milk. Overall, not really a good experience for my first time checking them out.. It could have been an off day for them, but I dont really have the...
