Alfredo's Italian Kitchen Medford — Restaurant in Medford

We have friends that love the Somerville location and so when one opened in Medford, we decided to try it. BIG MISTAKE. Service was despicable from the phone call to the doorstep. Was put on hold without being asked, or made aware I was on hold. When they picked the phone up, (because they only dropped it on the counter) I had to repeat the order (chicken tenders, and chicken saltimboca) 3 times. When the driver arrived, he was certainly here fast. Because the saltiboca was piping hot. All the sauce was out of the container and soaked the bag. The driver handed us the food like there was no issue, and when the bag broke in front of him, obviously from his poor handling, he shrugged his shoulders and left. So we spent $30 tipping a guy well that spilled boiling marsala all over my signifigant other and my mud room... And here is the catch! That wasn't the worst part! The only thing I would ever get there again is the tenders. The saltimboca had no sage, was disgustingly sweet and I tasted cinnamon. Not how I was expecting it to come from a place called alfredo's kitchen. One star because the tenders are...

I'm over this place. They charge extra for condiments, price is always oddly higher than the menu. They charge a fee if you pay with credit. They act wicked standoff and never seem to appreciate business. There food isn't half bad but not for the price. The pasta plates are only for 2, I don't want to pay 20 bucks for pasta just for me ( ever think of serving half or getting smaller containers) there subs are only 1 size ( my 9 year old doesn't need a whole sub) there steak bomb is only a steak and cheese with peppers and onions and charge over $1 for salami. The chicken ceaser wrap comes hot/warm. They charge $1 extra for Buffalo wings like hot sauce is expensive. They get upset if you order 1 hour before closing. (If you close at 10 that means you go home at 11 not 10) and I like how they hand you a recipe to sign for a tip for a walk in order. Why would I tip for giving you business and doing your job. Your a owner and don't live off of wait staff wages. One customer lost, probably won't make a difference but...

Changing my rating I had up for a long time i been ordering and buying food from Alfredo's since they where in Everett. I must say they im very disappointed $60 order tonight I'm charged for extra and giving no extra I asked for a Romano sub toast just the bun no tomatoes add peppers and oil well they call back 5 mins later asking if I want tomatoes again said no and repeated my exact sub the way I wanted they said ok they got it. Well who ever took order didn't understand and is trying to lie at 748pm saying they have no driver and they closing cant make me another one. When that's a lie they close at 10pm and deliver up till closing because I've ordered late so many times. Guy was rude on phone so I yelled back at him he hung up. Very very disappointed when this was their mistake. I always tip in cash my family always...
