Arthur's Italian Pastry Shop — Restaurant in Medford

First visit to this bakery and I purchased the Italian rum cake and pastries. The italian rum cake was soooo good everyone devoured it and wanted to know where I purchased it. The pastries I didn’t even get to try they just quickly disappeared. Obviously, everyone loved it Today I picked up a chocolate cake. Know, I’m not a fan of chocolate my son is. It’s his birthday today, so I ordered the cake for him and got him his favorite chocolate cake with chocolate cream. The cake looked beautiful. You can smell how fresh the chocolate cake is. I had a piece, just to make him happy and I actually had to have a second piece. Again, I am not a fan of chocolate on chocolate cakes. This one was very good. Everything I’ve had so far from this bakery has been AMAZING!!! Thanks to the owner for putting out wonderful and amazing Authentic Italian Pastries. And to Vicky who welcomes you with a smile 😊 to whoever comes walking through the door. Thank you, for always putting a smile on my face too!...

Amazing. I literally just tried one of their pastries for the first time and felt compelled to write a review afterward. I just moved into the area a couple of months ago and always wanted to stop by. One day after work I just decided it was time to see what’s inside and I didn’t realize they were closing early. But the lady inside was kind to give me some time to choose something and I got to sample a cookie. They had a wide selection of pastries which made it difficult to choose but I ended up bringing home a cream puff type pastry that was filled with some kind of custard, whipped cream, and raspberry. I finished the whole thing and I loved that it was chilled at the right temperature for eating. I can’t wait to try their other pastries and to bring some into work once the whole team has been vaccinated. I’m looking forward to sharing this gem of a place with family...

Went in last Saturday around 1pm to buy a few things. Left with nothing because the counter woman was BEYOND rude. She was in the back and I was the only customer in the store. I waited until she saw me and asked if she could help. She begrudgingly came out to the front and huffed and puffed about how she wanted “2 mins of peace and quiet” and how busy she was this morning. She barely wanted to tell me what the item was that I was pointing out. She made a comment about how she didn’t have a box for just one item. I decided that I did not need to support a small business like this because I can go down the block and support another business. If you don’t want to make any money then just shut your store down.
