Food was very presentable and service was great I don't recall my Hostess or Servers name but both girls where very kind and hospitable. They treated me and my family with the respect and dignity that a gest should expect from a franchise. But the food was not that great in flavor my Carne Asada and Rice were dry and my sons Menudo Extremely salty. One more thing to add is that I went there the Night before to buy a Ceviche and even though the Ceviche was Good the Night server's where nothing but rude. Rolling their eye's and not being patient at all when a question was asked they smacked their lips and not being accurate on a ETA for food I waited 40 minutes longer for it even though i seen my dish siting on the window the last 15 minutes I sat waiting. In the end if you want good service go in the morning.

I stopped in for lunch with my sweetie. We both ordered from the lunch special menu, which offered the usual lunch special choices: tacos, enchiladas, tostada. I decided on the enchiladas with chicken, and she opted for the tostada. Both came out quickly and hot. I enjoyed the enchilada sauce, the chicken was so so but over all I was very pleased. We also noticed the drink menu, which is massive! We'll be back for dinner one of these nights to give the regular menu try & have one of there many to choose from margaritas!

We had lunch here and it was fabulous! Our server was attentive and pleasant. The food was really good, with flavors and recipes unique to Comal. The verde sauce was especially unique and flavorful. They make their own chorizo and it is exceptional. I recommend trying it with the street taco so you can get the full flavor without too much interference. The menu said that each location has a unique menu so I'm looking forward to checking out both the Central Point and Phoenix locations in the near future.

The absolute worst Mexican food I ve ever eaten. The carnitas should have been tender, succulent and in some juices instead it was dry, not pulled but chunks of shoe leather. The rice and beans should have been on the plate to mix with the carnitas to soak up some juices but wait! There were no juices just dry pork and greasy vegetables. The onions and peppers served with this was swimming in grease, ugh I still can’t get the taste of grease out of my mind. The pre meal chips were cheap store bought bulk with no taste the salsa was just weird tasting and the bean dip served with the chips were loaded with lard and looked anemic. My husbands dish was every kind of meat dry as shoe leather, thin cut steak and the chicken was so dry it could have been boot tread. The chorizo was nothing but sopping grease. Terrible! My husband who will eat anything said he will never go back to COMAL and that is a huge statement coming from him. The prices for this mess are outrageous. Luckily I had a barf bag in my car and held it to my mouth until we got home. I m still apologizing to my body for putting this assault into it. One star for the waitress....

My husband and I enjoy trying our local Mexican restaurants every now and then, we decided to try Comal for my birthday... I wish I would have just saved my money, and stayed home. The service was poor, our waitress literally sat down in our booth to take our order, and to collect payment on our check. When ordering the combo dish, there was an additional charge for getting the Verde enchilada versus just the normal red enchilada, which I can't have the red sauce because it gives me extreme heartburn. Didn't think that the spoonful of Verde sauce versus the half a cup of red sauce would be such a huge price discrepancy. Also, in the combo it says that for an additional chimichanga it would be a $2 charge, this doesn't mean two chimichangas, this just means that they are going to charge you an additional $2 for your second item that is supposed to be included with your combo anyways. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the food, service, or atmosphere. And it definitely didn't meet my expectations for the price. Instead of taking the chance here, I could definitely recommend going to other popular...

I live in this neighborhood where we have so many wonderful cooks making Mexican and Hispanic cuisine.inasdimed since this restaurant was located here I assumed it would be good. It was not. Not authentic at all. Maybe incident know enough about it? This food is the most white washed crap I’ve ever eaten I’m shocked (and embarrassed on behalf of the white race that anyone can eat this bland stuff and think it’s good.) beans out of the can, bagged salad, no spices to speak of, not a pepper in sight. Omg. If you are one of those folks who like “American Mexican food” ( apparently bland and without spices or flavor) go for it! But it’s a no for me. I would never ever order here again. I am sure the service is great and I know the atmosphere is fine, the food is great if you want Americanized Mexican food I guess but even chipotle is more authentic.I hope I’m wrong tho, but even the chips...
