Purple Parrot — Restaurant in Medford

The young man working was friendly enough and, while I've noticed that many Purple Parrot personnel look appropriately professional in dress and demeanor, this guy did not. The store was rather shabby inside and messy, too. Including me, there were 5 people there, but no cleanup activities were started during my 45 minute visit. The worker was "coaching" a woman, clearly someone he knew, as she played on a video lottery machine, giving her tips and advice as she played and, at least, sounded like she was hitting decent payouts. When I walked through the door, it was actually the woman who greeted me. I thought she was the employee. It wasn't until I was leaving, and the young man was sitting behind the counter eating, that I realized she was gone and HE was the employee.

All in all, not the greatest Purple Parrot to visit. The bar next door is a dive, I haven't been in there in 15+ years...and the neighborhood is in the fringe of a rough area. If you DO stop in here, please BE SURE TO ROLL UP WINDOWS, LOCK DOORS, and secure anything valuable OUT OF SIGHT.

I was meeting someone who was buying something I'd put up on Marketplace, or u wouldn't have been...

They are not wiping the machines down after each customer uses it and if somebody catches covid they will be responsible I asked the kid who is working there shouldn't you be wiping down the machines after each customer uses it and he said no would it please you if I wipe down your machine for you and that was a snotty comment to say the least so I'm going to call or text the lottery and and see what they have to say about all this Maybe I'm Wrong I Don't Know But I mean Elmer's does it during this time you should do it always God forbid if anything should happen your store will be shut...

Met up with a friend it's in the ghetto though and cops are everywhere except when a guy parked next to me one min literally wrecked his brand new red Ford f250 sport literally gutted the exhaust it was hanging from the passenger side he was parked right next to me nearest to the road 30 seconds later he was at the opposite end of the lot going through a fence & over a boulder 🪨 that gutted that pretty truck! Brand spanking new not a scratch 30 seconds & 1 STUPID F&$K later, just another P.O.S rattling...
