We had a busy day with 3 toddlers and they were so hungry. We stopped at DQ as a treat for doing so well while we were out shopping. However DQ, messed up our order and we didn't realize it till we were already headed home. We turned around, the kids ate the chicken strips and decided to eat their incorrect blizzards. I was unaware by the time we got back. I handed the lady at the window my blizzard told her this was 99.9% ice cream and not a blizzard. The lady argued with me telling me it had 2 scoops in it. I told her to look at it. There was no way there was two scoops of anything in it. She scooped it and said "see, here's a small piece ". By this time I was livid. I told her I know and the kids know exactly how much they put in a blizzard and that was NOT it. I told her they gave us 2 strawberry banana mini blizzards not the 2 strawberry cheese cake. They wanted those back, but my 4 year old nephew was so upset he couldn't have his blizzard cause it was incorrect, his mommy went ahead and gave it to him. I had to order another 6 strip for the kids cause they wouldn't make it home for mommy to make dinner. We have been here several times before and never an issue like this. They should have one person do the drive thru not different people thru out each order. I told my sister, we will go to a different one next time...
Read moreCalled over the phone to place a cake order where I spoke to Sharon the cake decorator and owner. When I asked for bubble letters on my 8" cake for my son's school graduation, she told me she couldn't do it bc it would look ugly. I asked for other alternatives where she told me she offered only cursive. She mentioned she did other fonts but couldn't describe or explain them to me. Her tone was nasty, short, and uncaring. I asked for a manager, and she proceeded to tell me that she was the manager and owner. I said that I was going to leave a review then. That's when she sarcastically told me that she would make sure to "make my cake real pretty". And, I then asked her.... "are you going to make my son's cake ugly?" where she proceeded to tell me something along the lines of me saying I was going to leave her a bad review. At the end of the day, I went to another Dairy Queen who had no problem with my order and writing the message in bubble letters. I was not asking for a masterpiece, but something that would not make the cake plain as I was only doing streamers and confetti on the cake border. Very sad on how I was treated.
