This partially dried mess greeted us at the door. The guy who waited on us, didn't enter our order into the register. Allowed me to say my entire order (2 drinks) and then went to go get cups, at which point he asked me to repeat my order. He still didn't enter my order in a register claiming he had to use a different one, and just wrote our order on the cups. He began to make our order and had to go get another bottle for our large frozen coffees. He opened the pump and handled the part that was put down in the "sauce/syrup?" Then placed it on their obviously dirty counter. Removed the foil lid from the bottle and once again with dirty hands grabbed the pump that would go in the syrup and put it in. He proceeded to grab 2 medium cups, and began to make one of drinks without the ordered shot of turbo. That's when my husband said it's not a medium either. The guy then went and found our discarded cups that he had written the orders on and tried to remake our order. At which point he failed again to put the turbo in. The manager on duty asked him are you still making their drinks? What are you doing? He stated he had no idea. I asked if she could help him. She took over making our requested order and got it done in a quarter of the amount of time that the 1st guy had putzed around for. I asked to pay for my order and was informed that our drinks were free. I asked for a receipt anyways as I thought someone should know of the occurrence. She did give me a copy of some other receipt so I could fill out a survey. I told the manager that she was great but her co worker had shot her in the foot. I really hope it was a one time thing, but dude shouldn't be at work if he cannot get through...
Read moreAfter having a bad reaction to my $15 worth of food which I ended up throwing up while driving away from the store. I returned to the store after I finished gagging to let them know what happened because I only ate a bite of one of the three pancake breakfast wraps I ordered before throwing it back up. While speaking with the store manager and explaining to her what happened I was met with an oh well attitude and I can do nothing for you just because the food didn’t taste good to you. She was not customer friendly and made me feel like it was my fault for throwing up $15 worth of her food , even though I only had a bite of one of the three sandwiches I ordered. I was respectful but was treated disrespectfuly even though I was the one paying my money and loosing my money even though I did not get to eat. As a manager this situation should have been handled better with me going away feeling positive and feeling positive about returning. But, in the end I was pushed away, dealt with like I was trying to get over and treated as though I needed to take the L and get out. Thank you Dunkin Donuts Store manager Tammy Marshall of location 2880 w New Haven ave Melbourne, Fl for educating on how I can still be victimized when trying to be nice and do the right thing. Next time a situation like this comes up, treat the person how you would like to be treated, don’t be rude and please don’t assume that the person is trying to get over on you. 02.10.2019 - Update! Done with breakfast items at this particular Dunkin! Not the first time I've been disappointed with this one location in particular, specifically their Wake Up Wrap. My most recent visit, I tried to call them within a mile or two max, after pulling out of the drive thru to let them know my of disappointment but the phone was busy and stayed busy for my next 15 - 20 miles before I gave up trying as I was on my way to work.
My issue, call me picky, is that I don't want to pull out my breakfast wrap to find it spattered with the remnants of the previous whatever it was that was cooked or heated up on their hot plate before they made mine! For me, that's not very appetizing! Don't get me wrong, I know there is always a chance something is left over on the hot plate however, I'd think training would eliminate the obvious lack of cleaning off the hot plate between items. I couldn't eat it! See pics and zoom on for better idea of what I'm talking about and you can see inside of the bag was even more crud left in the bottom!
