Purchased a brisket a few days before the 4th. of July 2019 My intent was to smoke it on the 4th. Never noticed that the label did not state anywhere that it was inspected by the USDA when i got home. So I called and voiced my concerns to the manager and asked if I could return the brisket and was informed that the brisket came from Cargill Corporation. He also explained that many restaurants in the area purchase their briskets from him and not to worry because I would like it. He also stated they do not take back any meat purchased didn't matter if I had my receipt. I was not able to smoke the brisket as planned on the 4th. so I put it in my freezer on the 4th. . 2 days ago 7/18/2019 I removed the brisket out of the freezer and put it in my fridge in order to thaw so I could smoke it today. Upon opening the package to meat has a strong smell of vinegar, my research says the brisket has spoiled. My fridge stays at 36 degrees and my freezer temp stays at 12 degrees, so my only guess is this brisket was spoiled when I purchased it. The package stated sell by date of 07/10/19 it was placed in my freezer 4 days before the sell by date. I feel confident that I was sold a spoiled brisket! A total waste of $50.00 as well as my time. While shopping for food items to prepare lunch for a large group, I was thrilled to find the prices here significantly lower - exactly what I was looking for to serve quality food. The veggies are incredibly fresh, the store is spotless, and the manager, Shaun, went out of his way to help me, even while stocking and organizing shelves. That level of customer service is rare these days.

Food was good. Service excellent. I asked my server for hot coffee. She said she would brew a pot for me. She said there was no coffee made. I told her that it was ok and that I would just get something else. She said it was not problem. Not only did she make the offer with a smile, but she seemed happy to do this. The coffee arrived at my table piping hot, it was delicious and she had put two little pitchers of cream on the plate that held the cup of coffee.
