I can only account for my own experience, but I haven't been here in forever until tonight because our experiences up until now at this location have historically been....lacking, we'll say, and inconsistent.
Not tonight, though! Every single thing was spot on. It's the nicest experience I've ever had in a BK in three decades. It was clean, bright, warm and inviting, I was seen right away and had a patient, courteous, professional person ask me what I wanted (and I unintentionally give him reasons to be impatient, because I kept getting the names wrong for items whose names were right in front of me =)
My food came out within a couple minutes, and...get this...it looked like the picture! Since when is that a thing? There was a fresh, juicy tomato, full leaves of lettuce, bacon that didn't look pulled from sealed plastic sleeves, and it not only tasted good, it even smelled good. The friggin' swiss cheese smelled like swiss. Smokey, non-plasticy delicious swiss.
Another thing is, you can see clear back into the kitchen and nobody looked tired or like they were upset to be there, or absent-minded or stressed or "somewhere else." I know The Founder was a McDonald's movie but that's what these people looked like. A pit crew. Not rushing, but the opposite of slacking. Just knocking stuff out like a well-oiled machine. It was a weird feeling to be proud of total strangers for the job they were doing. I genuinely felt like saying something but I don't know if I have the conversational skill to not sound condescending or like I'm making a joke instead of a compliment.
I told myself maybe I just got lucky because I was the only person in the lobby, like I had just experienced the full resources of the establishment...but then they got drive-through people and -eight people- in a row in the lobby and the compensated by rotating out sandwich people onto the cash register stations like everyone wishes would happen when there's a rush but never does. But people still got their food quickly even though two people weren't making food while they were up taking orders!
All of which is to say, I don't doubt that people may have had bad experiences here, as we all make mistakes and I could have just gone on a good night. But I was so impressed I just wanted to take the time to let people know that it could also possibly be a really -nice- experience, and that just the fundamental non-services related default BK things like roominess and comfort and cleanliness...
Read moreRarely do people leave reviews to take the time to say how good something is it's usually just negative. I have been a fan of Burger King since I was a little kid many years ago. Every Burger King in Brevard County has slowly gone to shed over the past 5 years. This story is the exception. It is always clean the people are competent and friendly and the food is always correct. DGM of this store has her act together. Burger King in Brevard County is an epic fail at either the area District or Regional level. That person needs to be replaced with the woman who runs this door. Let her find and train other GMS who will actually take pride in what they do and deliver the product that Burger King used to many years before the recent decline. It is quite obvious that whomever the district or area manager is does not care at all about his stores because all of the other stores in Brevard County are consistently disgusting with employees who do not know how to do their jobs how to make it a point either directly or indirectly to tell you that they hate their job and don't want to be there. The food in these stores is almost always wrong and poorly put together. The fact that the one on the beach is now boarded up with plywood and the one on 192 it is now closing go to stores went out of business because they are poorly managed. Take the GM from the North Wickham store next to Beef O Brady's animal Heritage District or Regional whatever it is you guys call it there should be at least one person in Brevard County who actually cares about their job. Give this woman a raise and let her fix your company before the rest of them go out of...
Read moreHeather, the assistant manager is rude and does not own up to their mistake. We did a drive thru tonight and when we got home we are missing some sandwiches. We specifically drove to burger king because my daughter who is not feeling good ask for a burger king. As a mother, I was the one who ended with no food to eat. Because my daughter is sick, I could not drive back (12 minutes) to fix this stores mistake for them. I asked them if they can call a delivering service to deliver it to me, and obviously they say no. Heather, who boasted that she's the assistant manager Saud that the only thing she can do is give me my burger but I have to drive to the store, or give me a refund and still go back to the store. My daughter is sick. Obviously they don't care about that. I got really upset because I have nothing to eat, and the only thing this store will fix their mistake is I correct it for them. I don't care about 8 dollars. What I care about is they fix their mistake, and if they can't, give me the money for my entire order. I don't care about 20 dollars. What I care about is you showing you care for your customers and obviously you don't. When u make a mistake, show that you care instead of being proud like all I want to make money off of this. Lol. No I don't Heather. You're the one who is making money at burger king because of customers. I hope you understand that you should care about your customers more instead of treating us like we are Money hungry people. This is your mistake, under your supervision. You should have known how to deal with your customers better especially because they were not able to eat because of...
