Not at all impressed. Not authentic and limited options. I actually was thinking of the Rainbow Poke place for lunch in the same shopping center and decided I would try this place since I have driven by many times. I thought a Greek salad with gyro meat. When I got inside, I did not see a Greek salad as an option. I did see a yogurt salad on the menu board, so I asked for yogurt salad but was told they did not have the yogurt to make the salad. So I asked for the garden salad with Gyro meat instead and was denied - only falafel or chicken Shawarma. So I opted for the falafel salad was being made, I went to use the restroom to wash up. The light in the bathroom is not working so I used my cell phone flashlight to see. I then received my packages meal and I headed home. Only once I got home I realized how small the salad was for nine dollars. At first bite I thought the falafels tasted excellent with great seasoning, but I realized these falafels were mostly all breading. The salad was already dressed in some sort of liquid that smelled very sour. Disappointed that I didn't get the poke instead. I will not be returning here and I do not recommend. There are much better Mediterranean spots in the area...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was a loyal customer for months during this pandemic. The food was delicious and the service was great. I have been very concerned that staff members making food and checking customers out at checkout did not wear a mask and if they had one, they would leave it hanging on there chin not even using it. Goes to show they do not take this pandemic seriously. What is even more shocking and terrible is that they do not use gloves and use covers to block so people can't see them preparing food! Keep your eyes peeled! I watched the owner prepare salads with no gloves and was disgusted and even after checking a customer out with cash he went on and made a salad without even washing his hands and proceeded to lie and say he always washes his hands when in all the months I would visit never once did i see him wash his hands. Also very disturbing is that the owner is constantly coughing around all the prepared food and let alone his mask is off so just spreading his germs. Never again will I return and I hope people keep there eyes out on them not using any gloves or masks during this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSmall restaurant in a strip center. Menu seemed appealing so I stopped by. Had the 3-piece falafel order. Taste was good, but the size of the falafel was a little disappointing. As with most of the middle eastern restaurants, the staple is usually the chicken shawarma wrap which is popular with the local college students. I ordered it and after ordering I also noticed they had the kafta wrap.as well. I asked what type of meat they use and the owner told me it was only beef whereas most places have a blend of beef and lamb which I do not like. Since it was only beef, I opted to try that as well. Unfortunately, both were poorly wrapped and they both leaked sauce in my clothing. They weren't bad, but I have had better with more flavor. I could barely taste any of the garlic sauce in either wrap. I was also perplexed as to the addition of tomato and lettuce in the wraps which I not seen before. They didn't help the wrap at all. The flavors were OK, but I guess I spoiled from...
