I came in because they shop was recommended by my girlfriend who also go her phone fixed here. I decided to go because I had a broken LCD screen for my IPhone SE. I went in, the guy looked at my phone and gave me a good deal of only 70$ on fixing my phone. He comes back and says, "The screen won't fit in your chassis from all the dents in the corners, do you want me to bang it out or just give you a new chassis and screen for 40$?" Obviously, I took the offer because it was a super good deal. He gives me two options for which chassis I wanted, I pick a black chassis to replace my white chassis and he goes in the back for another five minutes. He comes back out and tells me that he, "Didn't realize that the phone was and SE and tried to put it into an IPhone 5 chassis." This is where things start to get complicated and frustrating. He didn't have a chassis in shop, even though and IPhone SE and most of the IPhone 5 Models are virtually identical in size and shape, so I had to leave my phone at his store for a weekend while he looked went to look at his friend's shop to see if he had one in stock. I thought, "Okay great can't wait for my phone to get fixed." I come back Monday after the weekend was over to my phone at it's original state, just with a new screen on it and a black home button (the phone is white, I'm pretty sure he had white home buttons but ok.) He tells me that his friend didn't have any phone chassis like that, so he had to order one online. He said it would take me no more than a couple of days and I was fine with that. He gave me my phone as is, basically the same just with a fixed screen. I was expecting them to call me, but the ring for my part never came. So, after five days of silence I decide to call this place. I call them, and ask for an update on the part. They guy on the phone says to me in a very strange and sketchy way, "Yeah we accidentally ordered the part from China and it's going to take three weeks." What! Three weeks? It went from a couple days to three weeks?! Unbelievable. I'm a simple guy, so I wait out the three weeks when I start to get problems on my phone. Within the first couple days of having the phone, I notice a small little crack by the phone's top speaker (I never dropped the phone, so I'm guessing the screen was used beforehand.) A week passes, and my phone's top speaker sounds incredibly scratchy and when I call someone, it's inaudible and I have to use speaker. I never had this problem before, so I'm guessing he screwed up something with my speaker and decided not to fix it, or he just didn't notice it. Fast forward to now, 2-3 months after I got the phone "fixed." No calls from the company, and I basically gave them $40 extra bucks for nothing out of it. The customer shouldn't be the one to take the initiative to get there phone fixed, the company should have be contacting the customer and making sure they're happy so they don't write reviews like this one. The customer service is down right HORRIBLE. Now this happened the day of this review, the screen starts acting up! Purple and pink lines are going down the screen (keep in mind, I NEVER dropped the phone since the repair.) I'm not sure if it's because the screen he put in was a crappy screen or it was water, which I doubt it was because I never got it wet. I currently have the phone in a bag of rice, and I'm going to see if water is the damage. Great.
As an honest reviewer of most places I go to, I have had by far the worst experience with this one store. To sum everything up, I was scammed $40 and got a shabby repair job. The customer service of this company is terrible, and so is the craftsmanship of there work. This company is only made for simple, and quick repair jobs like swapping out a screen, but it seems that even that is too difficult for this place. All I wanted was a fixed screen which is what I got, but a ton of other problems followed with it. I plan on coming back to get my $40 bucks back and go...
Read moreI have waited months before posting this review, but now feel it is necessary. On July 3rd I brought my Samsung Galaxy S10+ in for a screen replacement, I paid the $281 and was asked if my phone had a password on it as they needed it unlocked and turned off to do the repair. I obliged and powered the phone off. I was told to give them an hour or two and the repair would be finished. I gave them two hours and came back, I was informed upon arrival that the phone was showing a battery error stating it got too hot and needed to cool down. Jay told me he had to heat the phone in order to break the adhesive holding the screen on. He said to give him an hour and it'd be finished. I left and returned an hour later to be told that the phone was stuck in boot loop mode (meaning it powers on to the main screen then turns off and repeats). They told me I turned the phone off during an update and this is what caused this. They attempted to download a program to complete the update and fix the phone. Unfortunately they needed the phone for another day. They were closed the following day for 4th of July, I pleaded for a loaner to use for the weekend to allow me to still run my business, after some time they agreed and lent me an iPhone 5. I was grateful, however they gave me the oldest dinosaur they could find, which was incapable of running the apps I needed to run my business. Jay said he'd come in Sunday and get my phone completed, well he did not and I had to wait until Monday. Upon arrival Monday I was told the phone was broken and couldn't be repaired and I needed to send it to Samsung. They informed me "We are all iPhone users, we didn't know that turning a phone off in an update would cause software issues." In my opinion as a business specializing in phone repairs, you should know everything there is to about phones. Instead they put the entirety of the blame on me for turning the phone off, when I was instructed to by the owner. I sent the phone to Samsung, and was out of a phone for nearly 2 weeks. They had to repair my back glass (which was damaged by 321repairs plus) the motherboard, battery and LCD screen. I lost all my numbers and photos, (which held sentimental value), as well as time and money. They offered no partial refund or any type of remedy, and instead put full blame on me. I highly DO NOT recommend using them for a repair if you have a Samsung device. Lesson learned, they have lost my business as well as any referrals to use them. I hope this review saves someone else the headache I had to endure. BS!! You never offered any type of remedy! Not once were any of those words mentioned. And YES I 100% disputed the charges, you didn't fix anything, you broke my phone, and said to contact Samsung. Matter of fact, you actually said, "don't tell them it was repaired here or they won't honor the warranty. " well when you broke all kinds of parts in it, wasn't too hard for them to determine it was repaired somewhere. I wasn't trying to be sneaky, I was being an adult and avoiding conflict. You screwed me over, and you want to talk about karma, and act like you offered a refund? Hopefully people reading this can see in all your other bad reviews how your business always feels the need to shoot shots at the customer leaving the bad review. You know darn well that you never offered a refund of any type, nor did you offer to send any screen back. Your lying through your teeth now, you're saying you offered a refund that I denied? Yet you fought the bank dispute?! That makes zero sense. I received a paper weight and a phone number to call Samsung. That's why the charges were disputed. Services weren't rendered, nor was any remedy offered. Side note, 3rd time was a charm, bank refunded me permanently, guess they saw through your bs in the end. Plus my bank sent all the documents you wrote them, you lied over and over throughout, and judging from the handwriting, your wife lied as well. Shame on you all. Never will I recommend your business, in fact I'll direct people to...
Read moreWent in and bought my granddaughter a phone. At the same time asked to have my screen protector replaced. They insisted I needed an OtterBox and I explained the OtterBox and the screen protector are not compatible from past experiences. A female clerk in the store said she had a way to make the glass screen protector work with the OtterBox by removing the plastic screen protector from inside the Otter box. I eventually paid for an OtterBox and a glass screen protector as she was adamant that she had experienced the same issue and was able to resolve the problem. She put the OtterBox on my phone, removed the plastic screen protector attached to the inside of the case. She then went into the back room with my phone and returned with a glass screen protector on my phone. Next she explained to me she did not have the right size screen protector and instead of refunding me the money, she put on a smaller size screen protector on my phone. She told me to come back in a few weeks and she would put on the correct screen protector. I returned a few weeks later and the correct size screen protector was put on the phone but, air bubbles were under the protector. It was explained to me that the OtterBox keeps the screen protector from fitting and the two are not compatible therefore the bubbles are to be expected. A man came out from the back and said he had given me the screen protector for free and that is what happens with the OtterBoxs a glass screen protectors. I told him I paid for the screen protector and he accused me of lying and demanded my receipt. The female finally spoke up and said I paid for a screen saver. She then said the OtterBox was not compatible with the screen protector and that bubbles were normal.THIS WHY I DID NOT WANT THE OTTERBOX TO BEGIN WITH
In conclusion I’m sure the response to my review will be from the owner explaining how the customer is wrong again but,
1- The place is a hole in the wall with kids running in and out of the bathroom that is in the front of the store. The bathroom reeks and the place smells like the hole that it is. (install a fan folks or teach the poopers to use spray for Christ sake)
2- I was sold an OtterBox and a screen protector. The size of screen protector for my phone was out of stock. So, I was sold a product that wasn’t in the store. How desperate can a place of business be to make false sales?
3- I took time out of my schedule to go back to the hole and was told that I never paid for the screen protector and when the truth was told I was blown off. No apology for being rude and blatantly wrong.
4- I experienced the OtterBox and the screen protector being non compatible but was manipulated and lied to by someone who told me that taking the plastic part out of the OtterBox would fix the issue. She said they do it all the time. A few weeks later the same person told me that using a screen protector with the OtterBox causing bubbles was normal.
5- For all of my friends, family, clients and acquaintances that I referred to this hole I apologize profusely as I feel supporting local owned businesses I will also tell you when they’re sketchy as well.
By the way my screen protector is cracked all to hell. It started where the big bubble was and keeps running up the side into the middle of the face...
