This is a hard review to leave, because I hate leaving reviews when I haven't actually tried the food. I might change this review later when they get themselves more staffing, but I can't help but leave the review because of the amount of hassle I went through.
I ordered via the KFC app for their "quick pick up" - which is supposed to be ready very fast and on the counter in the lobby waiting for you. The app worked great and the food was ready within minutes. When I got there, a minute after it was ready, the lobby was closed. I called and was told I'd have to go through the drive thru, which was incredibly long.
I couldn't wait that long, and honestly didn't want to - my food was already packaged and ready. By the time I got it and got home, it would have been sitting for at least 30+ minutes in the bucket.
So I asked if they could just cancel it for me, and they said no. Apparently they cannot cancel ordered placed through the KFC website or app. Crazy, right? Told me to press the cancel button, of which there wasn't one. Told me to tell my friends they were hiring, though...
...
So now I've had to send emails to request a refund, because they stop staffing their customer service and live chat at this time of night.
(Update: still haven't gotten food there just yet, but the owner did call to apologize for the issues, and I appreciated that very much, so bumped up the stars a bit to reflect the good...
Read moreI've only used the drive through. I cannot comment on the inside. But the location itself is not your typical free standing KFC. It is the last store in a strip mall. I found that odd but I'm not complaining. I had a craving for KFC and this is the only place around for miles. Because of the strip mall setting the drive through in the back requires some sharp turns. When I visited there was a very large truck also parked in the back delivering to another store. There was room for the truck and the cars at the drive through but careful and cautious driving is in order. The food was your usual KFC food: unhealthy, greasy and delicious! I've loved KFC coleslaw for decades now. I noticed in Miami that the recipe seemed to change. There was a lot less flavor to the coleslaw in Miami. This place makes the coleslaw exactly like I remember and love: sweet, tangy and yummy. I just realized that the places in Miami are probably cutting down on dressing used to increase profits. Ha! Silly me for thinking the recipe had changed. This place also offers a free chicken tender snack for your furry friend if you bring...
Read moreIt's weird the prices here fluctuate daily, one day chicken tenders are 16$ the next 23$ I have the receipts to prove it. Management isn't doing a good job keeping the prices correct. I could post the receipts, but I feel like the cashier may get in trouble, but this has been consistent for weeks. IN my Opinion 16$ for tenders is a reasonable price (It's 3$ more than Churches not 10$), I'm going to stop coming by this location if it stays 23$ Although it is better than 28$, but honestly IF I KEEP getting Burnt tenders it's not worth 23$ or 28$ During the pandemic they actually started making decent chicken and now that everything's opening back up the quality has gone back down.
update: went up in prices quite a bit, it stunned me and I just left 12 tenders used to be 21$ now it’s 28$, everything else is above 10$. Just priced me out of eating their I guess they got to survive it just won’t be on my dime.
Edit finally started selling sauce
The location has improved greatly in the last couple of months.
Feels like new management Keep up...
