I will start by issuing a warning to anyone that plans to dine at this restaurant with a large party. They’re not equipped or staffed enough to handle large groups. On Mother’s Day 2019 by recommendation of a family member we decided to have our annual Mother’s Day brunch with fifteen family members, and from the door the greeter/ waitress/ owner was extremely unprofessional. Due to the size of our group we were placed in two tables. This individual whispers to one of our family members that SHE will NOT be making separate tabs according to each group 🤔🤔🤔!!! Not all were aware of her previous statement of the bills NOT being separated as needed per group. Our drink orders are taken, let’s keep in mind it’s not fountain drinks. We follow up with our food orders, 🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣 yes more to make you laugh. Fifteen orders right, only twelve were brought out 30 minutes later and they were COLD, we immediately advised them we are three dishes short. We begin to eat, those that had theirs available. Everything we would ask questions regarding anything, the waitress/owner replied with an angry tone added with a splash of attitude. So know you have a group of fifteen angry patrons, with food that wasn’t restaurant quality, and marketing the prices as if it was a ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ place with it didn’t meet the requirements of such. I would give them one out of courtesy. Moving forward, as the folks that had there meals served were finishing the last three were brought out 🤣🤣🤣. As we are approaching the end of this horrible experience we asked if we could bring in a cake for a family member who was also celebrating birthday. We were told it’s fine, ok fine 🤔 NO because they charged 2.50 for each plate for the cakes we cut and served, keep in mind approximately 5 didn’t have cake but everyone was charged 2.50. In my opinion that theft!!!! Now the show begins, remember at the beginning I stated she told one person about the billing situation. So everyone started asking for their tabs, and this woman selected one member of the family and gave him the entire check. Everyone became irate, as many didn’t have cash and were going to pay with their own cards. She flat out denied excepting payments from anyone, only one card. A second lady working there walked over to us and asked if we could keep it down because there were other patrons 🤔🤔🤔, are you kidding me with this mess you started and not to mention the service. So she goes on to say “ I can void the bill but it’s going to take a VERY long time to print individual bills “. If she was looking to discourage us, well she did as we were company by elders with conditions that were already feeling horrible as a result of this experience. It’s a selfish operated restaurant were the owner wants to put her hands on everything. You would think that on a day you’re operating reservation only day, you would bring in extra staff, but no don’t want to pay. If you decide to dine there after reading this review, and come across similar situation, can’t say you didn’t know. After traveling around the globe including 3rd world countries, this is by far the worse. (F)...

This is one of those places only the locals seem to know about. Located in an out of the way spot, this restaurant is a bit challenging to locate. You can't see it from the road and the signage is not the most eye catching, but let me tell you, what awaits you inside is a veritable frippery of gabbing ladies anxiously awaiting the opportunity to provide their patrons with excellent service. I was fortunate enough to be waited on by the owner. She, for obvious reasons, knew everything about the menu. It is very hard in Brevard County to walk 10 feet without tripping over a Puerto Rican restaurant. There seems to be one on every corner (think Starbuck's). They serve alcohol here. I mention this because you can virtually touch the Sheriff's Sarno substation from the front door of Latin Flavor. I was going to initially give this restaurant 5 stars because it was the best Puerto Rican food I have ever gormandized; however, two weeks ago I noshed at a Puerto Rican joint in Sebastian that had a mofongo that blew Latin Flavor's away but, I get ahead of myself. I started with the Alcapurrias. These are plantains stuffed with ground beef and then fried. It is served with a flavorless mayonnaise based sauce which, thankfully, is not needed. The meat is seasoned expertly and it soaks into the plantain. Overall, the dish was a real winner. Next up was the Pernil Pork. While it might have needed a little more seasoning, it was executed flawlessly and served with great panache. The rice had canary beans mixed into it, and as we all know, I am a sucker for canary beans as they are a staple of the South American diet. Finally came the mofongo. Mofongo has fried plantains as its main ingredient. Plantains are picked green and fried then mashed with salt, garlic and oil in a mortar and pestle. It really is a flat tasting dish used as a delivery system for add ons. In this instance it is a sauce similar in taste and consistency to that of a bottled Italian salad dressing. While it was really good , it was easily out done by a competitor. The Big Boy still strongly recommends you give them a spin and says,...
Read moreI was here with my wife because all of a sudden she was in need to pee . We asked friendly for the bathroom and explained in English and Español they said they dont have bathroom and showed a lack of Courtesy in a case of emergency , I never expected from Latinos that type of behavior, how can u eat in a Restaurant that there is no bathroom? Sera eso posible segun la ley? Could this be possible by law? RED FLAG NO BATHROOM I will never go there because that type of behavior It never happened from Puerto Rican people and it call my attention that they sell roasted Pork with Rice and beans and for me this was a Discovery since many times we drive to the Lechonera Puerto Riqueña in Orlando to eat lechon and Chicharron but we have to continue doing so because to Latin Flavor not even in my dreams we will go due to the way and horrible experience we went thru, we don't look as People that abuse. So I do not recommend this Restaurant to anyone because of the way they treat us , unless u spend and because they don't have bathroom, can you imagine the lack of hygiene the workers there may have and what you don't see? THIS EXPERIENCE WAS A RED FLAG. Your respond shows that you are in addition arrogant another reason no to go there, teach your employees not to say we don't have bathrooms that's what the lady said to us, is your right but you loose potential customers and you lie in your respond be more polite, still you want and need customers or not? Everyone read the reviews in Google and not all of your reviews are good..many are vey bad . I warn all the Venezuelans and others community stay away...
