This is the dictionary definition of a dive bar and it's great! Imagine stepping back into the 80s where smoking in bars was still allowed, the jukebox was always playing a good song, there was never a cover charge and water was on the house. That's this place. The place is dark and dark. It smells like old beer and cigarettes but after a few minutes you no longer notice. The people are friendly and mostly sober enough to still drive. Read moreThis is a pretty typical dive bar. Music. Few pool tables. Liquor drinks, relaxed crowd. If you have an hour or two to relax with a drink, it's a fine spot. Nothing exceptionally good, or bad. However the $1.50 a game standard pool table seems laughable. Apparently they have open table days/times...outside of those times it's 6 quarters a go.
