Rooted Zen Kava Bar is such hidden gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The space itself is impressively large, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed to cultivate the perfect vibe for relaxation and connection. James and Chase are absolute standouts—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about creating a great experience for every guest. Their service is top-notch, ensuring you feel right at home while enjoying some of the best kava and botanical drinks around. The menu is well-curated, with drinks that not only taste great but are also priced incredibly fairly for the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each one. It was my first time in rooted zen since they’ve been open and it safe to say that I’ll be a regular there- especially since I’m starting back at college and will need a great place to chill to do homework/ study!! I’ve been coming here for a while now and it’s easily one of my favorite kava bars around. The kratom drinks are great always mixed well and served super fast. All the bartenders are friendly and make you feel welcome right away. The atmosphere is relaxed, social, and has a really cool vibe overall.

I also appreciate that it’s very 2nd Amendment friendly, which adds to the comfortable and open environment. They host fun events like bingo where you can actually win free drinks, and they run discounts often. Prices are definitely better than other kava bars I’ve been to in the area.

It’s also a great spot to meet people, and everyone here is easy to talk to and the crowd is very chill. Special shoutout to Nilah, who did an amazing job serving me and even helped me create a custom drink that wasn’t on the menu!

Rooted Zen is hands down one of the best kava bars I’ve been to! The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing, and has that perfect blend of chill vibes and community energy. The kratom recipe they serve is absolutely top-notch — smooth, balanced, and consistently great every time. You can really tell they put care into what they’re serving.
