Golden Chick — Restaurant in Melissa

Came here last Friday to get dinner. I told the girl twice at the speaker that I wanted a spicy twelve piece along with family fries, mashed potatoes, green beans and macaroni and cheese. Cool. Get home and realize that our 12 piece was not spicy so I called the store and Ana was very quick to offer a replacement for the next time I was in the area, “Great, thank you so much!” I said. Well today (Sunday) I drive up there with my receipt in hand, giving them my name and explaining the situation. The young gentleman has me pull up to the second window to explain that they can only give me 6. I reply that, that is not what Ana told me and if I could speak to her to which I learned she was not there. I told him that she had written my name down and I had a receipt. He calls her again and a different young lady comes to the window and begrudgingly hands me the tenders. She hands me the tenders and I told her “I’m so sorry, thank you!” She just stared at me. We decided to give this place another try after months of not going hoping for improvement but not so. The ladies at the window was good.The chicken was so salty and kinda burnt on different parts of the chicken. The green beans smell horrible and tasted like it smelled. I called and it seems like this same guy who never wants to take responsibility answered . He never wants to fix the problem or even apologize. When you ask him a question he doesn't answer you. This time he goes and comes back to the phone and says the green beans taste good. Well!!!! if that's what you call good. We spend our money at your place of business and if there's a problem at least apologize and try to make it right for the customer. We love to support local and this is close to our neighborhood but this is third strick. Please fix the smell of whatever you are putting in your food. Tone down the salt. It was like a bucket of salt was dumped in the mixture. The food used to be good but whoever this manager is does not have the customers best interest or value their opinions when we have a concern about the taste and smell. Hope franchise check on this establishment and correct...

Tried the ordering online and pickup option. It saved no time. Arrived at the store when I was texted the food to be ready. Walked in, and they had not even started making the food. This would suggest that ordering in the store would have been better, but there was a line behind us of 3 different groups, all confused because the employee working the front, just walked off and never came back. To make matters worse, there was a female employee with long hair...not up, just down and rubbing across all the food orders as she reached into a case to add rolls to the in store orders. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and 2 orders of corn nuggets. I got 2 sandwiches and 2 orders of corn nuggets, that were both put into the same cup. As much as the food costs, and the place needs to cut costs on little paper cups is unreal. To top it off, the food was not good at all.
