I never leave reviews, but this was such a frustrating experience I wanted to share so it doesn’t happen again. I placed an online order and drove to the drive-through around 11:30 PM to have the girl at the drive-through Tell me they were closed. I told her that online it says they’re open till 1 AM in the drive-through. I already placed my order and told her I didn’t think it would let me do if they were actually closed. I asked her if she was making that up, she responded “we are short staffed so we are closed”. This is the 3rd time I have had this happen at this location but the first time I had submitted an online order. I wanted to get my money back so I pulled around so I could ask someone how to do that. As I pulled around, I saw the girl come out and hand an order to someone waiting in a car. I thought they were closed? I try to stop her so that I can ask her to get my money back and she sees me turn the other way and let the door strip behind her Which is locked, then runs and hides so she doesn’t have to talk to me. I see another employee also run and hide, So I knock gently on the door so they know I’m not trying to harass them about making me some food, I just want to ask them how to get my money back. They shut out the light… So I knock harder a couple times and no one comes. I went back to my car and finally figured out how to cancel my order and get my money back. But this is horrible customer service and poor business practice!!!!! They even had the dining room closed, and online it says the dining room doesn’t close until 12 AM. Why have business hours posted online if you don’t follow them?! I wonder if management is aware of this or if they even care. I drove from Anna to go to this location specifically to order online because it was cheaper to get what I wanted vs going to the Anna location, what a waste of time. Change your hours online if you’re going to close early every night so people don’t waste their time driving to your location when your employees are just going to decide the place is closed...

I saw the 2.4-star average and thought, well, it’s Taco Bell—you don’t expect fine dining, just get what you order and go. I placed a mobile order to keep it simple and avoid any confusion. My order showed up correctly on the drive-thru screen, and they confirmed my name. All good so far.
I pull around, and the woman at the window asks me my name again—not a big deal. Double-checking is fine. She gives me my Diet Dr. Pepper (which, credit where it’s due, was one of the only two things they got right). Then I wait. And wait. Three, four, five minutes pass. A different employee opens the window, asks me my name again and what I’m waiting for—clearly they’d lost track of the order.
So I wait another five or six minutes. Keep in mind, this was a mobile order that should’ve already been ready, and I was the only car in the drive-thru. Not exactly rush hour.
When I finally get my bag, I count the items—everything’s there, but just about all of it was made wrong: • Taco that was supposed to have no lettuce? Covered in lettuce. • Doritos Locos Taco? Wrong toppings—they put the sauce meant for my Cheesy Gordita Crunch on it. • Cheesy Gordita Crunch? Not cheesy, wrong shell, and missing the flavor entirely. • The roll-up? Had the right sauce, I think, but something was definitely off—missing cheese maybe? • Chips and cheese? That was the only thing that came out exactly right. Congrats on not messing up chips and cheese.
Look, I know it’s Taco Bell. I wasn’t expecting gourmet. But when you order on the app, show up to an empty drive-thru, and still end up with almost everything wrong, it’s just frustrating. The service was slow, disorganized, and indifferent. The food was… fine, if it had been what I actually ordered.
The one bright spot? The drive-thru looked clean. So there’s that.
Bottom line: one star. Won’t be back to...
Read moreWARNING LOCATION LIKELY FOOD TAMPERING potential health hazard went here about 20 minutes ago on 7/7/24 and would give zero stars if possible. my taco was soaking wet. i believe this was a retaliation from the employee as i had to repeat my order several times and she was frustrated with my request to change a beef taco to chicken. i believe the wetness on the taco was likely spit or some type of disgusting response (maybe could even be chemicals? or thin soap?) from the young female employee working this evening at the drive thru. her employment should be reconsidered due to this disrespectful and downright unacceptable behavior of tampering with food. i believe this also explains why our order took so long as well, the employee was too busy tampering with it to get it out in a timely manner. this is filthy behavior. this restaurant refuses to answer the phone and did not give receipt for my order but i do have the charge on my card. also this location will redirect every car to park. this is a waste and causes confusion and order mixups, my order was almost given to TWO other people. this location needs SERIOUS HELP. you can see in the image below just how WET the taco is which is DISGUSTING. to the employee, if you don’t like customer service don’t get a customer service job. there is no need for that behavior whatsoever. also the soda came out of the machine hot, which is odd and further points to the lack of anything good from this location. i have also included a screen cap of my attempts to contact the restaurant...
