This McDonald’s has a modern look 😎, but that’s where the positives end. The front counter was unattended, and staff members were preoccupied with their cell phones 📱. I captured a photo 📸 of an employee talking on her phone while filling fry containers 🍟. Another staff member, dressed in all black 🖤, was also on her phone. It’s concerning that personal phone use is allowed during work hours.
A family who arrived before us received their food after we did, understandably making them furious 😡. We waited nearly an hour ⏰ for our order, which was cold and soggy 🤢 upon arrival. The staff was rude and seemed inexperienced, with no apparent adult supervision.
Essential items like ketchup, BBQ sauce, straws, and napkins were unavailable. This suggests poor inventory management. Despite multiple attempts to get assistance, employees ignored us, and the front counter remained unmanned. Without a self-service soda fountain, getting a drink refill 🥤 was nearly impossible. I was tempted to enter the kitchen to serve myself.
This was the worst McDonald’s and fast food experience I’ve had in nearly 40 years 🌍. Locals informed us that this is a common occurrence at this location.
The drive-thru had numerous signs instructing customers to pull forward and wait, turning fast food into slow food 🐢. While waiting at the counter, other customers came in with complaints: one received a Filet-O-Fish 🐟 instead of a burger 🍔, and another had been waiting for half an hour without receiving their order.
The staff was so disorganized and distracted by their phones that they neglected their duties. A complete staff overhaul...
Read moreWhen I first got there I ordered my food on the kiosk and took my ticket up to the front counter to pay with cash and no one would come out to help me I waited for 5 minutes before I had to finally flag an employee down that was cleaning the restrooms to help me even after the employees in the kitchen saw me needing help they did nothing. I got my food and my fries were cold and not fresh I immediately went back up to the counter and the general manager named Kelly that I was told by another employee was her name was there and I asked her if I could get another medium fry that was fresh and with an attitude she says.....she's cooking the fries and they are fresh! Are you serious? I proceeded to tell her well they're not can I have another and she rolled her eyes and went back into the kitchen and started speaking with the other employees making remarks and laughing. This is not management material. I don't even know how she became a general manager much less a manager. She represents McDonald's poorly and if McDonald's cares about their business they will review her or fire her or get her out of there because that was an absolute joke! She needs to go find another job to where she will be happy and will be glad to do her job. I will not be coming back and I'll make sure I will tell everybody not to go there either. But it makes sense because attitude reflects leadership and that's probably why that location only has a three star and has horrible recent reviews. McDonald's you need to do better. And a side note, I only went there because of my birthday and to use my reward! Wow. What great...
Read moreHere’s the deal. It’s fast food. What do you REALLY expect?
Pros: Clean restaurant from what I could see. (Note: I haven’t used the bathroom here yet.) You can customize your order with a live person like putting Big Mac sauce on a quarter pounder with cheese instead of ketchup and mustard. Rewards program gets you pretty good deals too. Today I got a free Quarter Pounder with cheese ($5.50 savings) using points. You can use a reward every 15 minutes. Food came out fast and when we asked for ketchup the guy came out with a whole tray of organized condiments! He was super nice. I also got a fast drink refill by going to the pickup counter so they could see I needed help.
Cons: It takes forever to get someone to go to the counter to order or help you in anyway. I think they are counting on people ordering using the kiosks. There’s no play place for the kids, but my daughter said there’s a “game” table. I’ll have to update what that actually means. There’s no music, so all the ambiance consists of is the loud obnoxious beeping sounds coming from the kitchen……..
I really hope counter service improves and they do something about...
