Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Melissa

I wish I can give this place 10 Stars instead of just five. I was up in McKinney on a long pet sit when the craving for pizza hit me. 😋 I ordered the Hawaiian pizza online and picked it up within about 10 or 15 minutes. It had just come out of the oven when I arrived. I double checked it before I left and it looked so good, that I just have to have a slice right then in there. It was hot and fresh, and OH SO TASTY! Most of my pet sits are in and around Fort Worth, with McKinney being one of my farthest jobs. But I'm telling you this pizza was so freaking good that I would not mind taking the hour drive ever so often to get one of the delicious pizza pies from Mountain Mike's. Hawaiian pizza is one of my favorites so I was intrigued when I saw the picture of their version on the ordering app. They use really good quality ingredients and they were chopped nice and small so you can get a bite of each flavor on each slice instead of big chunks that might overpower. I ordered the small, and ate about half and was full. I ate the other half cold the next day and it was still really really good. The ambiance inside the pizza shop was casual but kind of sporty, I think there might have been some athletic program going on, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My Wife and I bought a house in Melissa this past January and love to patronize and support good local businesses. We passed Mountain Mikes many times going to Kroger’s not knowing that they had “great” pizza but not “great” customer service. We always order the same thing the Hawaiian flavor of chicken double pineapple and barbecue sauce delicious some of he best pizza we have ever had well after getting my order wrong 3 or 4 times but still decided to do business with them inspite of getting our order wrong multiple times so I called to still place another order and I had a nightmare and very disrespectful encounter with a wanna be boss name Sady with a bad attitude that has absolutely no business at the front counter dealing with paying customers clearly lacks customer service skills she decided to give me a 8 minute lecture over the phone about how I should act feel about spending my money and expecting what I’m buying she also mentioned that i don’t have to serve you what 😳 then she lied on me and said i called yelling at employees of Mountain Mikes for getting my order right wrong again I briefly spoke with the owner name Adam who sounded pleasant and respectful we had a scheduled meeting to discuss my mistreatment but he canceled as a military veteran “respect” is 101 it’s clear there’s a bad apple in a...

I recently had the pleasure of trying Mountain Mikes in Mellissa Texas, and I was blown away. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Kaley was absolutely fantastic. She has incredible knowledge about the menu as it was our first visit and offered excellent recommendations.

Based on her suggestions, we decided to order the Pineapple Chicken Luau and Garlic Cheese Sticks.

Let me tell you, both dishes were absolutely delicious. The pizza was perfectly cooked, with a crispy crust and a flavorful combination of toppings. The garlic cheese sticks were a delightful appetizer, with a gooey, cheesy center and a crispy exterior.

Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also top-notch.

Kaley was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It's clear that the staff at Mountain Mikes genuinely care about providing a positive dining experience.
