Wendy's — Restaurant in Melissa

I am 23 weeks pregnant and Wendy’s honey butter chicken biscuit has become a craving that I indulge in occasionally lol… This morning had to be my best experience there, from the kind gentlemen with the best smile and awesome hair who was working at the drive thru window, and the sweet and thoughtful lady who packed up some extra honey butter for me and secured it in a mini cup lol. You both made my day, and I hope this review makes yours! I appreciate you both!

Add on to this review, because I did not have her name prior to writing this, but now I do. Ms. Zina is such a joy to see in the mornings and is always greeting customers with a kind and beautiful smile. She always makes sure that I have some extra honey butter for my honey butter chicken biscuit, as it has been my pregnancy craving lol. Ms. Zina works so hard, and she is there every single day. She goes out of her way for customers, and she is so kind and sweet. My daughters and I absolutely LOVE her! She is a huge asset to the team and to the company, I truly hope that she is recognized for all that she does and for all that she brings to the table. Wendys Corporate, you are blessed to have her as an employee, and the store is very blessed to have her as well. I have seen a huge turn around at this store and because of that and because of Ms. Zina I frequent this Wendy's location for my morning breakfast! Thank you so much Ms. Zina, for all that you do! this is just a psa for people before they come bashing this store. yes sometimes the service is a little off due to the fact that barely anyone works in one spot for too long so not many of the employees are trained for all of it or have the right mindset. it basically IS just kids every night making your food. the men’s restroom lock looks like one that’s supposed to turn, but if you do that it locks everyone out once you’re done. just push the lock. and for a while we didn’t have a correct key for the lobby doors and we were unable to unlock the doors but one propped open. when the drink machine is out of syrup we truly can’t do anything to help it we just have to send someone to other stores for more or wait til truck comes. we are also short staffed a lot of the time. the frosty machine upsets us too we can’t even try the new flavors. we have to get a whole new machine to prevent further issues which we’re doing right now. we will remake your food and if you paid in store you can get a refund. speak to any manager they’ll tell you nothing but truth and be kind about it. be a person instead of a karen. most of these kids have been working their heads all day at school then making food for people who wanna order 5 biggie bags 10 minutes...

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY CLOSED. I went to Wendy’s tonight with the intention of getting something to eat. A young man who was making burgers left that area and took my order. Never once did he take off his gloves. He accepted my money wearing the gloves and then returned to the area to continue making burgers. He did NOT take off those gloves and put on a fresh pair. Instead he used the same gloves he’d just touched dollar bills and coins with. I began looking around for the manager and then noticed two large trash cans in the kitchen area overflowing with trash. I finally realized a young lady who looked to be no more than 18 years old was the manager or the shift lead. I had to wait to get her attention because she was on a personal call using her cell phone and ear pod so no one would notice. I asked for a refund and told her what happened. Her response was “sorry about that ma’am.” There was no follow up to reassure me this doesn’t happen regularly nor did she tell the young man to change his gloves. The health department needs to visit this store ASAP! If they are doing this in front of customers I’d hate to see how they are preparing food for customers who use the drive thru.
