Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Melvindale

. Since this store opened its gone from not bad to bad to worse. The deep dish I used to get for 9.99 was so inconsistent I just had to stop, now everything else is hit or miss but mostly miss. The wings were from last order, a one time mistake I wont make again. This pizza was supposed to be light sauce, whatever...but this was literally the thickest/toughest to chew pizza I've ever had in my life. Not to mention the width of the crust, like 6" in most spots?. Ill admit someone must be cleaning the pans finally because it actually wasnt as greasy as normal but still overall pretty nasty, mostly the cheese that seemed to be not melted fully? Or in layers like a lasagna, very strange. Barely cut through the pizza, 1/3 of the slices ripped in half when trying to seperate them. I would suggest looking at that food warmer box and the oven among other things, even though I use the tracker and get there promptly, I cant help if they dont see me when I walk in and then take a 5 minute+ phone call instead of handing me my pizza while it sits in that nasty hot box with a flyer touching my food and the box improperly closed. Is a large only 8 slices? The pictures doesnt do how bad/thick this pizza was...

lady behind the counter is rude and not helpful. I called for a pizza. Upon arriving, I grabbed a drink, went to go pay for my bill as excepted. Then she told me they got declined tried it again got excepted again. Then she said it was declined again. And then checked my banking app to find that I was charged $30 for a medium pizza because she charged me twice and then still refused to give me the pizza. then she goes to say this happens all the time and this is a normal occasion then I ask her for a receipt of both decline transactions because everywhere print receipt, excepted, or declined to give you a transaction number and she was unable to provide that. You think if this was a normal problem that you’d probably take care of it but no This place is a joke and I will never go back to any hungry Howies again after all the years that I have been going to hungry Howies I’ve never had a...

Mostly satisfied, but admittedly a decent bit disappointed. Customer service was great and the gentleman at the front resister was very personable & friendly. I ordered a ham & cheese calzone/baked-sub. My order came right, but honestly the amount of ham for a lg sub was truly disappointing; the added mild pepper was added to the sub before it was put in the oven, while I understand some might like that. I have found most place add such veggies afterwards so they don’t soak into the bread while cooking and I feel that most prefer it to be added post oven cycle (ie with tomato/onion/lettuce/etc). Additionally I think it would be a good idea to add onion to the ham and cheese sub. I know for the future that this location I will have to be that super specifically...
