When I first stepped in I knew I would like this place. There was a large selection of comfortable seating to choose from: sofas and hard straight back chairs. There were three sofas and many tables with seating for two or four (or groups) and you can also choose from hightop stool seating as well. There are plenty of outlets available. Luckily, they have on every table the wifi code (I hate to get everything set up to work, study, or relax and then have it get up and ask for it). So yes, they have this well panned out. The vibe in the room is pretty laid back, but not too loud. Just the right amount of noise you need to work away from home or if a loud professor is sitting next to you thinks you want to hear their impromptu meeting away from their office. It tuned out their potential imposition. So the theme is artisan coffee and artisan pottery and they make it onsite and sell it all. And it's all exquisite. I always select a basic as a first. It was strong but no bitterness. Smooth and easy. They were featuring Bandit Coffee today as a roaster. Before I leave I will get a pourover to seal the deal. Looks like I have a new stop on my Carpe...

Say, would it be possible to host Japanese tea ceremony nights here? Ever since the Way of Tea in Tennessee disbanded, I haven’t had a chance to practice tea ceremony much around here. :(
Plus, it would be great if we can introduce more Memphians to tea culture beyond serving regular bubble tea and bagged tea drinks, especially since I love seeing pottery in action, so...

Ok Belltower!!!! I see you!!!! I've always loved this coffee shop, but when they added the wine bar....it was a game changer!!!!
As if I wasn't already in love with their monthly Small Plates and Cocktails Series!!! (They haven't announced August yet, so Follow them and be on the lookout! I'm already looking forward to my email.) I really love the Super Smash Bros Tournament they have on Friday evenings. Of course I didn't play. My Smash Bros skills are nonexistent!!! But my son had a blast!!!!
So I did what any responsible parent would do! While he played video games, Hubby and I sampled their drink menu. My glass of Cabernet sang to my soul! Hubby had some type of Mojito that declared me the DD (Designated Driver) of the night!
I think I might become a regular Regular at Belltower!!! Who knows....I might try my hand at Pottery Making or join them on Open Mic...
