Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Memphis

Sometimes they’re okay, and sometimes they’re not.

Unfortunately the very last time I came to this location (which was this morning), they were not okay. At all.

Whoever fixes the food in the kitchen area doesn’t know how to wrap a breakfast burrito properly, as the tortilla was somewhat flaky and practically broke apart while I was trying to eat it.

And also, one of the employees (I’m not going to name names here, even though I know what said employee’s name is and what she looks like) doesn’t know how to count change properly, which is very annoying. That, and she apparently didn’t listen to a word that I said when I told her what I wanted.

And what’s even more ridiculous is that this Memphis airport Chick-fil-A location doesn’t even let people use the Chick-fil-A app not only to put in a mobile order ahead of time, but also to earn points toward free food, and that is just not right. They seriously need to wake up and get with the times.

I wouldn’t stop at this location if someone is in a rush to get to their flight. I’d wait till I got to my destination before I stopped for something to eat.

I wish I could give this location one and 1/2 stars if I could. The Chick-fil-A Memphis airport location needs to seriously do better if they are going to continue to operate in the future. And also, have more competent...

A great way to start or end the journey in Memphis International Airport. The airport has a limited number of eating establishments, a few vending areas, 2 coffee options, and this Chick-fil-A. This is, I think, the only fast food type option in the entire complex. It is a smaller store located in the open area between gates 8 and 9 where the concourse takes a turn. Their menu has all the usual items from a full store like their sandwiches and drinks. When I went there, there was a line to order but it went pretty quickly. Orders are taken at the left side of the counter where you pay for your order. People wait for their food on the right side. Drinks orders were filled by an individual CFA staff so you will probably get your drinks first while waiting for your food. I ordered a breakfast burrito. The staff member who took my order was very pleasant and professional. The price was extremely reasonable with the burrito and drink costing me under $8. The food came out within 5 minutes and they called my name to come pick up my food. It was as good as any restaurant I have visited. I have traveled this airport at least 2 times a month due to being a traveling nurse. As a frequent visitor to this airport I love the atmosphere inside especially since it’s Memphis. On October 14, I came across an employee that always greets me with a beautiful smile and friendly attitude. I can tell she was raised in the south, she always says yes ma’am and no ma’am. Her name is Jesmaine, I remember because this is my second encounter with her and my grand daughter name is spelled Jasmine. This employee is who I love to greet me. Unlike the other rude employees I have encountered. Im rating this a 1 star due to the rudeness of the other employees. There was a 15 minute wait on chicken minis, the employee was rude telling us we had to wait. Due to my plane leaving early I had to ask Ms jesmaine can she please give me a refund which she so sweetly apologized and asked her manager who seemed as if she didn’t know how to proceed.
