Don Don's Hot Wings — Restaurant in Memphis

Recently, we were on Covington Pike, where we were waiting for Garrett's car to get an auxiliary music port. I thought it was going to be a quick trip, but it ended up taking hours. Therefore, I decided that we needed food.

At first, I only saw fast food chains, but then I saw Don Don's. I actually don't think I have ever eaten at one, even though it's a Memphis thang.

It was a random, non meal time. There were two other groups in the restaurant.

It's a place where you order at the window. I noticed that they have different specials everyday. The restaurant was small, but kinda cute.

The food is great. Garrett ordered the fish plate, which came with two sides. With his catfish, he got fries and okra. The fries were nothing special, but the fish and the okra hit the spot.

I didn't want to order the same thing, so I got the hotwings, which came with fries. They were also good. I can't remember the price, but nothing was very expensive. Try it out. Good fish...

I'm so upset 😡. Spent $62.50 on 20 wings, fries, and mushrooms. These wings sucked! Lemon Pepper: No taste it was like Display chicken or something. We ordered BBQ and received Honey Gold. They were horrible, idk what else to say. I really hate that I spent SO MUCH money for a cute display of chicken cuz the taste was nasty. Mushrooms were ok. Just really sad that we decided to give them a try and were so disappointed.

They were DEFINITELY fried in old grease. Plus they looked like the chickens were weight lifters they were so huge. It was kinda scary. I wish I could get my money back if I gave them these wings back 😒....I want a refund, I'll give you the food back.

I'm convinced their friends are giving this chicken 5...

Great wings! I've got to get used to Memphis wing restaurants serving the entire wing, I keep getting too much food! I ordered the Cajun seasoning wings and light seasoning on the fries. The wings were crispy and delicious; just a bit of heat and great Cajun seasoning. The fries were serviceable but not great, the seasoning is different than anything I've ever had, pretty good but got to be a bit much after eating a few. The service was great and...
