JR's Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Memphis

I just left this place after waiting almost 40 minutes for two pieces of catfish and some okra. It would not have been so bad had someone told me why my order was taking so long. I watched at least 5 other customers come in, order, and get their food before mine. I was literally the last person in the place. At that point, once I noticed that no more food was being cooked, I went up to check on my order and the cashier told me that it was almost ready, but it was sitting on the table behind the register. For the price charged for two pieces of catfish fillet, I would expect better service. This was my first visit to this restaurant. I’m pretty sure it will also be my last to any location...

Just moved into town and thought I was going to feed the family after such a long move for us. Chicken was salty, and the sauce was slimmy, fries were nasty and soft. The only thing that was kinda ok was the funnel cake but I be damn if out didn't taste like fish. Wasted $25.00 trying to feed my family and when I went to tell them about the gross food they sent me home with, they acted as if they didn't care. Did a door dash order. Shrimp basket, fried mushrooms, Philly cheesesteak and a bottled drink. I didn’t receive the drink. Very sad.. The shrimp and mushrooms were good but so over salted/seasoned I could barely eat them. The Philly cheesesteak was pretty good. Overall good portions for a fair price.
