Securities guards from this store are a joke! They saw a black guy who stole a bunch of meat, he was treating everyone and when I told the manager this black guy what he did, was treating me and also drove around our car, we were asking help. My husband who is veteran had to handle the situation! The security guard a girl wearing her fancy pink purse on duty she didn't do anything! She had full things her fancy purse, she was so busy putting out the stuff she had it... and then She just was recording - for what? To post in social media???? and didn't gave us any assistance! Unbelievable!!!!! The manager just was with open mouth! I hope they fired this "security guard". We had to back to the store and she was staring us ! So have to take a picture. We had to address this situation with the manager in charge, but this girl didn't stop harassing us. She also said racist comments towards me and my husband who didn't say nothing. So please take care this situation we don't need to deal with ignorant employees like this girl. UPDATE Today is April 21 maybe 1 month ago after this incident happened. Today 21 we still have issues with this security guard, she is insane! Continue harassing my husband and my kids, today she did again. We talked with the store manager but looks like they didn't address this situation. Was really uncomfortable to deal with this girl and don't have peace to do our shopping. We have to check if she is there and then we can shopping. Today was insanely from her! Please someone has to take care and leave us alone. We do have good relationship with the cashier's are so nice all the time and also with some managers. Please she has...
Read moreI went in yesterday evening, and I dealt with the rudest Aldi employee I've ever encountered. Her name is Miracle (younger black lady) & she threw all my items into the cart minus the glass items. It was not a huge deal until she slid my eggs into the cart vertically with the same lack of care, and I told her she needed to be more careful with people's eggs. She then proceeded to scan my second dozen of eggs (I bought two currently @ $4.47/dozen) and slammed them down at the front of the cart instead of handing them to me when she saw my hand was out to grab them. At that point, I told her she needed to adjust her attitude, and she, of course, instead of apologizing because she was wrong, she shut down and called the manager.
She must've known the 'manager' well enough to know she wasn't going to care because this older black lady comes up and doesn't acknowledge the bad customer service either.
I realize they are all probably overworked, but that's not my fault. At this particular time, there were only two registers open, and the lines were long. I waited patiently, though, and had no issue when I came to checkout until she threw my eggs around with neglect. I've been to a few different Aldi locations since moving to Memphis and other than the one in Collierville, I've had to deal with long lines but in other areas TX and MO the Aldis were staffed better especially for the time of day (between 5-6pm). Groceries cost too much (even at Aldis) to have to deal with the store employees destroying items before you even leave the...
Read moreImagine driving 7 miles on three different occasions, passing up Kroger, Superlo, Target, and Walmart to come to Aldi, only to get there at 7:20 p.m., and be told that they are closed, 15 minutes before closing time and with no apparent reason (registers down, lights out, etc.). I was upset, but understanding, that maybe they were understaffed or something, so I went home empty handed. The second time it happened, it was 7:45 p.m. Not only that, I decided to go back to Aldi’s on my way home today, and this time at 7:25 (to make sure I am there earlier than last time), and the same manager on duty (see guy in Aldi shirt in pic) has asked the security guard to lock the doors and state that the store is closed—AGAIN!!! Might I add, again with no apparent reason. Well, Aldi, you’ve just lost a lot of money. I sat in the lot and watched the guard turn around at least 20 customers (I’m sure several before I arrived). Three people stated that this wasn’t the first time for them, and that they will no longer shop here at this Aldi’s. I am irritated because this is the only place that sells my dog’s food. Needless to say, I will not be shopping here again. This is my third and final attempt to shop here, and it would be pointless to keep coming back. I am enclosing pictures of the manager and guard, and the sign on the door (which clearly reads that they close at 8:00 p.m.) for Aldi Corporate managers to see how this manager is causing...
