Honestly the only issue i had was with the one service provider. I enjoy craft beers, and seek out local breweries in every new town I visit. I was only in Memphis for 2 nights and of course went to a couple of places on Beale st. At BB Kings i tried Wiseacre and liked it. I had asked our hosts to stop by a brewery on the way back to Cordova. Since they have never been there, we all agreed to go to Wiseacre.
We all loved the re-purposed industrial feel to the brewery and the outdoor seating. The 'round back' signs were friendly and the tasting room felt warm and clean. I approached the counter to a employee standing behind a payment terminal and asked for a flight, but was re-directed to a different employee, neither employee offered any type of greeting. I was a little surprised that a flight only had 3 tasters so I ordered 2 flights, this seemed to annoy the employee. This is the only place I have ever been to that does not have a method of identifying their flight tasters. He placed the glasses on the bar, ran down what they were and moved on to the people behind me. Nothing that would let me know what beer the different glasses held. I suggest a numbered board or paddle type presentation so that customers that order a flight will know what beer they like and maybe they will order more. Perhaps something that resembles your logo.
The party I was with grabbed the glasses and went outside, I stayed behind to order a pint for my host and grab a souvenir. I brought a blue shirt back to the same worker, ordered a pint of Ananda, and asked for a sticker. The guy rudely says, "which one?". I asked, "what are my choices?", he turned around, half-heartedly pointed at the 2 options and I asked for the black and white one. His body language, attitude, and lack of customer service annoyed me so I asked him if he was bothered by us. He said no not at all, I finished my transaction and went outside to join my party. I'm not sure if the team that brews the beer is the same as the service team, so I want to make a distinction. The beer, tasting room, food truck and seating areas were all good, but the service lacked...

Our planet is rapidly running out of sand (mostly due to demands for concrete), and the creation of glass is very resource intensive, so it's incredibly wasteful and environmentally irresponsible for a company to demand that customers purchase their own growlers.
If Wiseacre is concerned about "sanitation", that's complete and utter nonsense, breweries and stores all over the country fill 3rd party growlers every day, it's completely legal.
I was told that Wiseacre does this as a policy, but no one could give me a good reason why they do this.
I was very disappointed, and ended up going to Memphis Made, which was perfectly happy to fill my growler, and I had a wonderful experience there.
I strongly urge Wiseacre to abandon this...

While it is a brewery, it is fun for families and dogs as well. The outdoor area offers cornhole and other fun games. Inside, you will find the best beer in the city. Davin and his team know exactly what they are doing when they make a new style. I have been to many breweries, and few compare to the good times that can be had at Wiseacre.
Every year, they put on the Taste the Rarity festival. This is a good one. You should try to visit it, for sure. They bring in brewers from around the country to try their weird and rare beers as well as some of their fan favorites.
There isn't a kitchen, but there are frequent food trucks, posted on their website calendar, and you can bring your own food in.
You can also buy cans and bottles for take away. In addition to this, they will sell you a growler and fill it with some non-packaged beer.
While a late night here can be fun, I love spending a nice sunny after here...
