Myers Cruizzers Drive-In — Restaurant in Mena

Ordered our food and watched 4 people, pull up and order after us and everyone of them received their food before us. Carhop was snooty. I guess she was very impatient after handing me my drinks, because as I was placing them in my cup holders, she slammed my bag of food down on my window sill. I noticed we didn't receive any ketchup and I asked for some, but we were never brought any. Hamburgers were dry and tasteless. Only thing good was the soda and I'm surprised it wasn't hot or watered down, considering the food was bad. This is the second time I've had very low standard service, food and environment. I used to go here 3-4 times a week a year ago and I quit coming here after that incident. I thought maybe some changes would of been made after my last complaint, so I gave them a second chance, but I can see that it's still the same, so I'll never be giving them another try or my business again! Like visiting Sonic 30+ years ago with a classic drive-in experience the chain left behind many years ago. While the food offerings and quality are similar the atmosphere is quite different with 50’s/60’s music and kitschy characters surrounded by neon. While I prefer to support local businesses Myers could be so much more than they are IF they’d step up the food quality. The Flaming Cruizzer for instance had potential but the Polish sausage was of a low quality and topped with grilled purple onions. Purple onions are great raw on a salad but grilled? Not so much. The curly fries and onion rings were ok but just ok, the country fried steak sandwich obviously based on a frozen patty. Myers would be perfect for Diners Drive-in’s and Dives if they had something inventive to offer...

I go here every time I come to Mena. The food is delicious! There are so many options on their menu, it's not just like a place that has 19 different ways to have a burger, they have so many options! The girl who served us on Saturday when we went was a GEM. She had the most beautiful smile, beautiful attitude and even though my card was giving her issues, she never acted annoyed. She is the example of what customer service SHOULD look like. The food is delicious. The iced coffee is sooo good. (I only wish they had an extea large of that...) Ten out of ten...
