La Cabana Mexican Cuisine — Restaurant in Menominee

I agree with if everyone's assessment of the place. The food was not only good, it was fantastic! We had just flew in from Florida to enjoy the wedding of my only daughter. And to start the velebration went out to find a place to eat, and right next to our hotel we found this culinary paradise. Starting first with the traditionally chips and salsa. These were real tasty Mexican chips, made right there at home. And the salsa I cannot remember the last time I had such a delicious concoction of flavors! We kept on asking for more and more. And at the end realizing there were still left, they graciously placed more chips in a bag and gave us almost a tubfull of salsa! Another thing that happened is that I ordered a virgen piña colada and they mistakingly added the run. Not only did they replaced my order but offered the already prepared drink to us, knowing that it would be simply thrown away. And not only that, but as a form of apology gave me my drink for free!! And then came the food... I had the tacos of carne asada... 😋 No words...mmm All in all everything was fantastic and before I leave back south, will come by and visit again to delite in another teasure. Highly...

The food is always good. Staffing could be alittle better. Our server stood literally 3ft away from us as if we were contagious and couldn't hear us even though we were using our inside voices, barely checked on us, and we had to ask another server to get us our bill after waiting 10mins for it. Plus after we ordered more corn tortillas, where we were seated we could hear in the kitchen mind you, the staff in the kitchen called saying they were done well, our server comes out 5 mins after that and asks if we got them and blames the staff in the kitchen for not bringing them out. I think that's wrong and don't see how it's their fault that we didn't get them. Overall not a good service experience but I've had better otherwise being here. We will never go back! My sister and I are vegetarians and we had asked for beans in instead of meat and they had charged us extra as if we had gotten meat and added beans, then we heard the cook loudly complaining that we had substituted the meat for beans. They were saying that we could take our business somewhere else. My sister and I have small appetites and we order off the kids menu and we are 15 and they charged us for our drinks and we had gotten water. Our grandfather does not like guacamole so he asked for it on the side of his fajita, they put some on the top and also put some on the side, so they charged us extra, then we tried to use a coupon with a gift card and they said we could not do that.
