Starbucks — Restaurant in Menomonee Falls

Why 1 star...let me explain....

I get coffee and a sandwich about every second or third Friday between 9am and 11am via mobile order. This place is the closest to my home, and very convenient....so I thought.

About 4 months ago this all started...all orders were placed before walking out my door, which is 5+ minutes away.

Order 1 - Sandwich was not ready. Could be just a standard mistake, happens all the time in food service. No big deal

Order 3 - Coffee not ready. Irritation showed on my face (I was in a hurry). Apologies from barista.

Order 4 - Order not ready. Barista asked for my name (huh?) and said she would make sure I got a free coffee next time. It did not happen (she was not there).

Order 6 - Again, sandwich not ready. Spoke with manager who apologized, offered to refund my order, but I was in a hurry - this is why I mobile order.

Order 8 - Coffee ready, but not sandwich. Somebody said they did not see ticket.

Order 11 - Order not ready. Spoke with manager and explained problem. She said machine was not in a convenient place (after what I said, that was the response?!). Told manager I would not be returning due to poor customer service, and that I would leave this review.

As one who has worked in the food industry, and also noting the high turnover at the store, I wanted to give plenty of time for them to fix the problem. But...

Had to wait another 10 minutes due to them saying they never received my mobile order. When I first walked in and they asked who I was the "manager" said something about "that's the one you are remaking". 10 minutes go by and the same lady askes what I need and I restate it and she says that they never received it and adked if I was sure if I ordered it and was at the right place. I went to my car and brought my phone in and showed it to her. This isn't the first time I have had an issue. I went in before to pick up a mobile order and the store was dead. I stood there while the three kids were paying no attention to me. When they finally decided to notice me they asked what I wanted and when I said it was a mobile order they looked at each other as if trying to decide if someone should do something. About 2 minutes of this and then one reluctantly got the order, which had been placed now over 20 minutes ago, and spent about 5 minutes making a simple iced latte. The ONLY reason I go to this location is because it is on my way to work. I'd sooner go to the one on HWY Q...

Love the environment! Especially around the holiday time, Now the staff are friendly but they yelled at people including me for being too loud! Now I understand that but it wasn't really the greatest approach to do so, Now i hate the entrance to the place as the location of Starbucks is terrible. As even myself has almost wrecked trying to get past starbucks on my commute. The worst is vehicles come flying up into the parking lot making it almost life threatening to kids walking from school trying to get coffee. Now i love the free water because they have the best tasting water i've had! After all the only concerns to really have is the drive through, i'd tend to believe that they could have organized the...
