I watched this old train depot go from feed store, to a storage shed, to a brewery. What a magical transformation. This old depot is a local historical treasure and as a bonus they make great beer here. Ryan and his family took on the seemingly impossible task of taking this rundown building and restoring it authentically as possible to make it a functional brewery. The outstanding beers made here are mostly the malty lower-carbonation English-style beer. Their milk stout is a local favorite. Ryan, the brewer, always has two beers on his hand-pulled spigots which he got salvaged, from what I believe, was an older English pub. This is a friendly place to stop to relax, chat, or just drink beer. This is a dog friendly space, but you are encouraged to keep control...
Read moreNonic is an awesome little brewery in Menomonie. It is a retooled train station with a ton of the old character an look. Their is plenty of seating both inside and out and food trucks are common here. The service was very friendly and happy to talk about the brewery.

I really appreciated this selection, cask ales are a rare find, the beers were good (some really good). I am really waffling between 4 or 5 stars. I will...
Read moreThis brewery is dog friendly, however, when my husband and I brought our two dogs to this brewery we were greeted immediately inside the door with a dog inside that was off leash and started sniffing one of our dogs and then the dog started attacking one of our dogs. We luckily escaped the encounter without our dog being injured. There was no assistance or apology from any of the staff after the event. Due to this horrible experience, we never plan to return to this brewery as a brewery that is considered dog friendly should only have well behaved leashed dogs on...
