Wilson Park — Attraction in Menomonie

So ,for one where is the buffalo 🐃 ....I was told there's buffalo roaming ...then the farmers market wasn't ready I think cause there wasn't hardly any booths to buy from ...what a shame !!! I came from Minneapolis and. My sister and kids we had moolaa in our pockets and dreams of vegis and berries..and flowers and all the smells of childhood gardens where we were stuck pulling weeds for days on end ..but there was a total of maybe 8 and little veggies ..and no smells of gardens ...nope but we did smell a lady next to us for the next 1 hour or so while we sat and waited to see if anymore vendors were gonna show up .. finally we bought bobo tea (taro) and egg rolls and wontons and walked to our vehicle feeling defeated and dumbfounded that we didnt get the goods ...but we will...

We come here every Tuesday from June to August to enjoy the Free Ludington Band Concerts in the park. It's like stepping into the pages of a Norman Rockwell Magazine. Kids dancing and running around. Children marching across the stage. Pie and ice cream soda and coffee to support local Charities. Senior Popcorn to support the Senior Center. And then there is the Amazing Music played by many professional and talented community band members. It is simply a feast for ears to enjoy. The Ludington Guard Band has been playing since the 1800. A must see...if you have never heard them before....you are missing out! Starts at 8pm every Tuesday becoming June 1...

Went to the Farmers' Market at this location in Menomonie, WI. Great produce and variety of vendors. Very much enjoyed the Laos / Vietnamese/ Mung food offerings from the three food vendors. The wontons were outstanding as was the Chicken Binh (both sandwich and loaded fries) and great pork and vegetarian egg rolls. Bought lunch and then bought everything again to take home for dinner. The Farmers' Market is Wednesday and Saturdays. You will enjoy the fresh produce offerings, the bags of lettuce greens were amazing; very nice facility...
