Culver’s — Restaurant in Menomonie

The double mushroom swiss burger was ok, a little too greasy and I could have salted it, but Hardee's is much better in my opinion. The cheese curds were very disappointing, more like cheese pellets. But cooked ok. Definitely not what I would call "good". The curds were actually pretty sad considering that I'm in Wisconsin. The onion rings were also small, but were at least made well and tasted good. The chocolate malt was good. Not great, but good. The $16.23 tab was outrageous, never again! I was completely underwhelmed by the quality and quantity of my order. For the price, I expected excellence. What I received was slightly better than mediocre. To me, it seems a shady business practice that my receipt did not list the price for each item I ordered. They could have just as well handed me a piece of paper saying, "You paid too much...$16.23". The service seemed friendly, though I almost felt like I was being mocked. Like they were secretly laughing at me inside for spending so much on a meal. Which I would now agree with, but I'm not laughing. I don't do much fast food, it's all garbage. I thought I'd give Culver's a try since they claim to be so much better. Maybe better than McDonald's, which I have boycotted completely, but that's not saying much. I thought of crapping it out in a bag and returning it for a refund (Now I'm laughing)! I would call Culver's the fast food for hipster wannabes with more money than taste buds. Would not recommend. If you want to spend $16 go to a real restaurant and have a real meal like I wish...

We don’t eat out much, but we’ve ordered from here three times in the last 4 months. Each time something is messed up or goes wrong. My girlfriend requests no onion, and you guys throw em on even when it’s not part of the sandwich package almost all the time. Tonight we ordered curbside pick up and it said we could pick up at 5:30. We arrive at 5:30 and wait. 5:40 rolls by, 5:50 rolls by still nothing. I get there busy so I’m trying to be patient. Finally go inside at 6 and just ask what’s going on. It’s just sitting on the rack. Guy tells me some reason why they messed up and gives me two feee scoops of custard coupons. Like dude….. this foods been sitting for a half hour, not even warm anymore. Can I get a refire or at least a decent discount or something? lol I don’t want two free scoops of custard just decent service. I get it’s fast food, they’re potentially understaffed, you get what you pay for with fast food. But Culver’s isn’t really cheap and this is getting...

I had the worst experience I've ever had with a Culver's. We ordered something that my wife orders all the time which is a turtle concrete. They charged $1.50 extra for putting pecans in a turtle concrete. No other Culver's anywhere does that. It's just their way of ripping people off. When I complained about it to the manager, I think he was the manager. He had a funny looking beard that had was tied up about a foot and a half long. He said. Well that's how we do it here and we don't have a button for it so it's the only way we can do it. Turtle, I think there's some training needed there. We were very disappointed and won't be back to that Culver's and if they do that at other Culver's we won't be back to any of them. It's just ridiculous when they have to rip people off to...
